We LOVED getting these on deployment. Kids would draw the wildest stuff and teachers clearly weren't reviewing them. They would draw Army men shooting people and blood coming out and then it would say "I hope you don't die." Everyone looked forward to getting them.

Unhinged letters sent by school kids to US service members deployed overseas.
I mean it’s basically based on a real thing. Obviously all the effects and stuff is added for the sake of us, the audience, to make it more visually exciting. Implication is that all the flashy stuff either isn’t visible at all in universe or is an illustration of the feeling an athlete gets when they enter into a flow state. It’s lowkey been there in all of the anime, just now it’s become more visually exciting and has a name.
And it’s not like the different “zones” have actual power rankings between umas in the show. 🤷♂️
Voting done, now time to sleep. Maybe there’ll start to be some exit polling once I wake up later lol. As usual, no perfect parties, so just got to go with the overall best of the bunch
Oh and I brought both of my desk companions who are eligible to vote here along with me. They know what’s up.

In Brazil, running against the incumbent and wanting to better the country is a crime
Flávio Bolsonaro abandoned his effort to annul Brazil’s election amid fears that he could be imprisoned, according to a Bolsonaro family adviser.
“Flávio has given up,” the adviser told The Washington Post.
“He’s terrified. He is worried his father will die in jail, that he himself will be jailed this week and that he may have a long prison term ahead.”

Polls aren't open quite yet, but I'm awake and it's election day!
Make sure to vote, but remember that everything is ultimately in God's hands, so we'll be ok.
No dooming allowed. Just keep calm, and hashire. We've got another champion's meet soon.

“your honor, my client is mentally deficient. he’s irish”
A hateful man stormed into a Jewish wedding in Liverpool and began hurling antisemitic insults at the guests, terrifying people at the gathering
His lawyer, in defending him, said a mitigating factor was that his client is Irish and has suffered discrimination
What in the world is this line of reasoning?

Liberal Jewish New Yorkers have done such a bang-up job with the political situation here at home; why not go to Israel and impose their reckless left-wing agenda abroad?

🚨 #FOXEXCLUSIVE: 60 Minutes featured a deported Malian national whose wife and two children spoke about how much they miss him and want him home.
But we exclusively obtained Moussa Diawara’s asylum application, where he said he was seeking asylum in the U.S. because he was gay and feared being killed if sent back.
Now, DHS is pointing to his case as an example of alleged immigration fraud.
In his own words, Diawara wrote:
“Although I was born as a boy, but things appeared differently for me as I was already having female behaviors and feelings.”
“I was more comfortable being intimate with boys rather than with girls.”
And describing his life after arriving in the United States:
“Since I came to the USA I had the possibilities to express my feelings to men without any embarrassment no reserve.”
