Vivek Ramaswamy is running for governor of his state!!!
Moreno says El-Sayed can’t be a senator because he doesn’t understand that Jesus came here for our salvation.

Vivek literally described Jesus Christ as “a son of God” instead of “THE Son of God,” which makes sense…since he’s Hindu! Cool! So does this ridiculous religion test apply to the Republican nominee for governor, or just the Democratic Senate nominee in Michigan?

Watch the queen conquer. Check back in six days when Kathy Hochul is reelected.
Kathy Hochul is an evil woman. The Democratic Party should forfeit her seat because even if she wins, she will be of great consequence to them. Downward spiral for her. She will not escape God’s wrath. She did not denounce evil when she had the chance.

NEW in NYT: "Everyone in North Carolina seems to know Roy Cooper... His broad appeal goes beyond policy. He appears most excited when talking about the Carolina Hurricanes hockey team." "NC voters describe Cooper as approachable, moderate and genuine." nytimes.com/2026/10/23/us/po…

Ok, I get why men buy podcast mics now! It’s pretty fun. Had a really great discussion about the different factions within the Democratic Party, our wish list when Dems take back the majority, races we’re watching, our dream ’28 candidates, and how you lovingly coach along a party you love dearly but that can also frustrate the hell out of you sometimes.
Hey gang! TONIGHT we go LIVE 6pm EST! @yemisi and @TheOmniLiberal will be joining me to discuss the state of Political Discourse, the lib/left divide, the crazy polling debacle, and more Link to the waiting room below, tune in

Drew's onto something. Black Democrats like Sanford Bishop, Scott Colom and Don Davis will likely overperform this cycle. There's plenty of reasons why Black Democrats in the South do well. One reason? They aren't as anxious talking about God as white Democrats.

Okay, sure, Mississippi is a long shot for Democrats. But doesn’t Trump spending valuable time there just days before the midterms say something about Scott Colom? Would he be going if Colom weren’t giving Republicans a real challenge?

Every ad Scott Colom puts out is either hilarious or a genuinely endearing message about his faith and community. The talent is so obvious. I just wish we built lasting campaign infrastructure across the South so candidates like him had something to build on every election cycle.

So we’re all thinking Uber is behind this mysterious group running negative ads and phone banking against autonomous vehicles in DC, right? Why are they so scared of competition??? This is America! Let consumers have options and choices. Wasn’t that Uber’s entire argument to the taxi industry back in the day?

GAS PRICES AND RURAL IMPACT: "Rural voters really are the focus for the democratic party right now. No bigger example of the gas prices debate that we continue to have exists more than rural voters. They drive 40 minutes to work, 20 minutes to church, 30 minutes to get to the grocery store or the doctor. The prices matter most for that demographic. Not just for the midterms. The party can convince rural voters to vote for them now can also convince that demographic to vote for them in 2028." @yemisi

MOBILIZING THE BASE VS. PUBLIC SERVICE: "Where I think she made a misstep is you are talking about a younger generation. Kids coming out of college are layers removed from the Oval Office... I don’t think you should ever dissuade a younger generation from working for public service. I worked in the Senate. I worked in the White House. I think they are great fantastic jobs." @yemisi "She wants to deter young people from getting involved because, because basically, their lives could be made a living hell by people with power like her seeking more power. That’s the message, very clearly being telegraphed openly, shamelessly there." @guypbenson

Mike Collins is an island unto himself down in Georgia now that Republicans are pulling their money out. So I don’t see how Trump holding rallies in deep red Dalton gets Collins any more voters outside of the ones who were going to vote for him anyway. Easy path for Ossoff. Anyways, wish more people would focus on KLB and the governor’s race now!!

Imagine if all the far-left mayors took a delegation trip to SF to learn from Daniel Lurie how to actually tackle public safety and rebuild community trust. They’d be upset to learn they can’t just hand out needles and call it a solution! But I’m confident a little exposure to actual governance would do them some good.
There is a throwaway line in a WSJ story about the Seattle mayor’s failures about how reps from her admin traveled to SF to learn how Lurie was leading such a successful turnaround and were stunned by how it seemed to be connected to hiring competent people who know what they’re doing.
