Things are different in the Yukon. Last week I attended a meeting in a local hamlet with 2 ministers and a surprise appearance by the premier. When the local advisory council (like a municipality but smaller) meets monthly, the MLA (a minister) either attends or catches up on the minutes after. Having direct connection to them doesn鈥檛 change everything but it sure can make for better relationships and at the very least, the people can鈥檛 easily be ignored. Yes, I know there are only 48,000 people in the Yukon but I wish politics worked a little more like this everywhere in Canada. On the flip side it鈥檚 important to make sure there are varying opinions鈥ecause I find myself surrounded by leftists there that are resentful or fearful of industry but requiring cash money to make things work and sometimes are unable or unwilling to see the correlation there. But we also talk about that openly too and I am unafraid to share my thoughts and opinions because there is nothing in this world that鈥檚 worth shutting up for.

馃摲 Excellent analysis, and a well deserved pimp slap to the captured mindset of many canadians But im going back to work on the new republic TODAY
Alberta made its decision and now will have to accept its place as the anchor on a sinking ship. I don't want to hear anything from Albertans about equalization payments or climate change or immigration or any of the other Liberal policies that are destroying this province ever again. You want to be Canadian, and now you will be Canadian all the way to the bottom of Mark Carney's globalist abyss. 80% of Alberta is so naively married to a national identity that doesn't exist they sunk the only opportunity they had to break away from a federal project that has consistently ripped them off and ignored them. Now you are here for good. Pay your taxes to Ottawa, accept the constant stream of immigrants and shut the fuck up. You have no voice. Your votes don't matter but your dollars do. You'll keep paying to keep Canada solvent like you always have. And for the other 20% of us, we're now just passengers in this descent to nowhere. Elbows Up, retards.

Best move for Alberta right now is to form a federal separatist party, you guys can't support the CPC after this. Very clear CPC is not interested in equality for the west or the north.

Federal response was based on fear Ours is based on hope plus we just doggy trained them to embrace direct democracy cutting out politicians entirely 馃槀
