Prepping for the Pole Shift 101 Shelter - Fire - Water - Food - Medical - Tools If you are only recently learning of the Pole Shift, understandably, your anxiety level is probably pretty high. When in this state you can become overwhelmed very quickly and your prepping at this critical time can slow way down or stall all together In this thread you’ll learn the most important area’s to focus on to help give you some direction and save time. There will also be a starter check list to help speed things up and give you a starting point to get the creative juices flowing There is a nice little community here at various stages of preparation. I encourage you to ask questions to help save time and expense. Someone will answer. Some of us have only been prepping for months and some for many years. We can help you avoid mistakes and help you save time from researching gear with some great recommendations Tip: Start a binder and print important information to have on hand when the power goes out. Likewise, as a backup, get a portable hard drive to save important information, how-to videos, pretty much whatever you feel is important enough to have as a reference for later. Make sure to get the kind that doesn't need to be plugged in. 2-4 gigabytes will be plenty YouTube has all the how-to videos you could possibly need. There are many apps available (many for free) to allow you to download the video’s for later. You can also use the search tool to go through my posts on X. I have many how-to’s posted. Just use keywords like fire, water, tools etc. The 2 Biggest Mistakes in Prepping 1. Telling everyone that you’re prepping. Keep it to yourself and family. If you have a family member you can’t trust to keep quiet then keep them out of the loop. Most people will ignore the Pole Shift warnings and do nothing. But if your neighbors and/or extended family know of all the hard work you’ve been doing…. Guess where they are all going to show up when the SHTF 2. When starting to prep most start by trying to secure their current lifestyle and bring it with them through the cataclysm. But what if a storm takes out your house and all of your possessions? What is a gang of thieves runs you off of your property? If you had nothing but the clothes on your back could you make a shelter? A fire? Hunt or harvest food? Do you know how to make a filter for water? When faced with a true survival situation start your preps from a position of having nothing and then work up from there. Thus when a “worst-case” scenario happens you’re able to stay calm and work fast to improve your situation again. The secure feeling you have when you KNOW all of your needs are managed is a survival tool in itself - Life is better with less anxiety and more empowerment! (Continued in the Comments)
