BC just handed a majority to a Conservative Party that was tearing itself apart months ago. BC wanted things even messier. Ontario would have given you Doug Ford; all you had to do was ask.

So abortion is bad but a cop can shoot and kill a one year old baby named Kohen Wiley because his mother was suspected of shoplifting diapers. She did not by the way. Where is the pro life outrage ? I will wait…forever

MAGA hates everything, even the fact that I live in Europe. And apparently, that really pisses some people off. Especially when they find out I still get to vote in U.S. elections. “You left. Stay out of our politics.” Funny. Washington certainly doesn’t stay out of my finances. I can live in Europe, earn my money in Europe, and pay taxes in Europe—and still have to file a U.S. tax return reporting my worldwide income. Even when the final amount I owe the United States is ZERO. Read that again. Zero tax owed. Still paperwork. Still calculations. Still deadlines. Still figuring out which forms establish that I don’t owe them anything. Foreign tax credits. Income exclusions. Currency conversions. Then come the bank-account reports. That ordinary account I use to pay rent and buy groceries? Washington calls it a “foreign financial account.” It’s down the street. I live here. If my reportable foreign accounts exceed $10,000 combined at any point during the year, that generally means a separate Treasury filing. Depending on my assets, another disclosure may go on my tax return too. One doesn’t replace the other. Naturally. So I can pay my taxes where I live, owe Washington nothing, and still spend hours—or pay a specialist—to navigate the paperwork proving it. What exactly are we accomplishing here? I’m buying groceries and paying bills, not running an offshore empire. And then someone has the nerve to tell me living abroad means I should lose my say in how America is governed. You want me to report my worldwide income, keep track of my accounts, and meet America’s filing requirements—but shut up when election day comes? Absolutely fucking not. I served my country. I’m still a citizen. I still care what happens to it. And yes, I still vote. You don’t have to like my address—or my ballot.

It's quite sad that for the first time in our history we're no longer liked, respected or trusted. We are indeed a laughingstock. A world community looks at the United States and wonders if people are even noticing that the house is on fire, and that it was set by an arsonist who also happens to be the supposed head of state. They were willing to give us a mulligan for 2016. They gave us the benefit of the doubt. But the word that keeps on coming up is "TWICE?", "TWICE?", "REALLY?", "TWICE?" The idiot was on his way to prison and rightfully so. It's not so much Donald Trump the world worries about when they look at our once great nation. They wonder about a population that could have committed the obscenity of once again raising this vile pile of garbage to heights of which he represents a grave danger to the nation and the world. Why would that happen when it's so obvious he belongs in the Big House and not the White House? Never before have we been this disrespected and not taken seriously at all.

Danielle Smith... Who cited the Separatist APP in 2022 as her "or else" for Canada... Claims that separatism didn't start until April of 2025... And that folks that believe that kids are being secretly transitioned are her real base. So Dani hasn't hung up her tinfoil hat.

SORRY IF THIS OFFENDS GROCERY EXECUTIVES, BUT I’M DONE. I just pulled a $4.99 box of cereal off the shelf, brought it to the register, and watched the scanner ring it up as $7.49. When I told the cashier, she said: "Oh, that’s the digital coupon price. You have to download our store app, create an account, search for the item, and clip the digital coupon before scanning." ABSOLUTELY NOT. You inflated the shelf price by 50%, locked the normal price behind an app, and forced me to hand over my personal phone data and email just to pay the actual retail value of a box of food? Stop hiding basic shelf pricing behind data-harvesting apps.

Anybody shocked that since the Alberta separation thing didn't work our the RW Influencers have all moved on to anti immigration spams now? I'm sure it's a coincidence that they're all spewing anti immigrant rhetoric suddenly all together.... 🙄
Every new immigrant that uses a food bank EVEN ONCE is a MASSIVE POLICY FAILURE But Liberals are now INCREASING IMMIGRATION They should be polling at 0%. This is madness

It’s extremely devastating that my fellow Albertans voted this way. We need a re-set in our education system that includes critical thinking.

I’m hearing from friends in Alberta that today is actually hitting folks pretty hard. Not the vote to remain, which was a relief, but the other 9 questions. It’s becoming clear that the feeling of unity suggested by the referendum result is undercut by majority support for questions which feature policies that scapegoat migrants. But no amount of punching down by Danielle Smith will fix Alberta’s health care, public education or cost-of-living crises. These are the consequences of years of underfunding, not of newcomers trying to build a life in that beautiful province. Albertans deserve real solutions to the crises they face, not scapegoating that divides us and fuels prejudice. Right now, all Canadians have an opportunity to reject this and say: we stand with migrants facing the brunt of this cynical, negative politics. A united Canada must mean more than just rejecting separation. It must mean actually standing up for all of us — building a movement across our differences to make this a country where everyone can live a life of dignity, equality and belonging.

BREAKINGNEWS; Secretary Pete Hegseth claims that only one or two countries contributed to Afghanistan war. This is a lie. 32 countries had two or more deaths. 16 countries had over 10 deaths. 3 countries had over 90 deaths. Canada 159, UK 457. 🚨

Hey America, imagine this horrific scenario: If the Democrats win, you’re going to be thrown into a system where everyone gets healthcare Next thing you know, people will be getting treated when they’re sick instead of going bankrupt. OH THE HUMANITY! 😱

This is what billionaire ownership of the media means: Mark Zuckerberg’s Meta shut down the No Kings account for hours during the height of their protests. Meta suppressed accounts supporting Brazil President Lula da Silva in the recent election. Larry Ellison’s TikTok blocked advertising for a documentary criticizing Elon Musk. Fight back. Defeat oligarchy. Preserve democracy.
