Excited to share that my essay, "Reading (and Loving) Ulysses While Black," is now available. It's a meditation on how the embodied and psychic experience of the Black reader enhances our sense of Joyce's masterwork: jstor.org/stable/jj.37697507…
Thanks to Ellen Scheible, Barry Devine, @sbslote, and the editorial team @floridapress, as well as to my fabulous fellow contributors in the new book "Teaching James Joyce in the Twenty-First Century": floridapress.org/97808130794…

My heartfelt gratitude to my committee members at IU, especially my chair, Jennifer Fleissner. Thanks also to my incredible friends and family for their love and support throughout this process. NYC: See you soon! 🎉
Submitted the complete dissertation to my committee, now chilling in the path of totality. Feels momentous 🤞🏾🌞
