Personalized ad tracking. On iPhone: Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking > turn off Allow Apps to Request to Track. On Android: Settings > Google > Ads > Opt out of Ads Personalization (or delete the advertising ID). Most people leave it on by default. Turning it off stops apps from building a cross-app profile of you.
