A grim milestone: 10,000 confirmed #Ebola cases in DRC, the largest outbreak in the country’s history. Every case is a person. Every death leaves a grieving family and community. We honor those affected, those lost, and the courageous frontline workers caring for them. They deserve renewed global attention, solidarity, and sustained resources. We must turn that commitment into action.

In 6 months the world will experience Ebola lockdowns. Travel restrictions will exist in Africa, and potentially globally. We will have imported cases in the developed world. This bug cannot go pandemic, but it may be used by globalists to restrict all sorts of freedoms. This aweful outbreak will be used as an excuse to lock down the world for other reasons. Financial, cybersecurity, geopolitical conflicts may converge on this disease. It’s not a global killer, but it may be a global inconvenience. #pandemic

solana:5vicJEyYTDBqMsKe74vWQeDVMe5cmeA3vr1AT8RXb9t1 will be the biggest epidemic and closely follow covid in the coming months. It won’t be a pandemic - but will cause lockdowns and fear. Its high mortality rate at 50% is enough to spook any normal person. It can go undetected up to 21 days. That a silent carrier - enough to get someone that’s a carrier to a new part of the world. Many places aren’t as prepared like Africa to handle this virus. Take the Kenyan as an example. He was able to mask his symptoms through airports and made it through to Kenya while contaminating other airports (which is theory on how Nigeria patient got sick). Ebola will eventually escape Africa. It’s already bleeding beyond DR Congo borders. The current trajectory is on track to be worse than any other Ebola outbreak before it. No vaccine exists and trials can take months. The patient in Nigeria went to Switzerland now. Chances spreading outside Africa just increased. If you watched the video of them bording the plane, no one is wearing PPE to handle that patient. Concerning! More than 50 people are under watch in Nigeria and it seems like every day new cases are popping up. Sadly the quarantine and airport detections that just started yesterday are a little late. Something probably escaped and is going to show up in a place that is not prepared to contain this. It’s a silent spreader until it’s too late. Congo can contain while they have it because they deal with this and are familiar. But even three healthcare workers in Kenya got sick and that shows that even an African country who should be prepared to handle Ebola still make mistakes with PPE, quarantine and exposure. If other bordering countries don’t handle it well, how do you think other West countries will ? The West isn’t prepared for a case to show up in their area and once it shows up - it’s all over the news and media will be talking about. I’m holding this because I have a background in immunology and microbiology. I’ve studied these and work in healthcare. Sadly, I see this as being the main news story in coming weeks and for months. It’s like buying a Covid meme coin if pumpfun eco existed during lockdowns. Imagine holding the narrative coin that everyone talks about. Can’t believe it’s under 100k still as most people in this ecosystem can’t see narratives before they become the main character. Most will chase it vs. positioning now into the biggest narrative over coming months.

A traveler returning from Africa steps into a U.S. airport and faces a scanner at entry. Green lets you walk free. Blue locks you into the quarantine line. He claimed he had no idea an Ebola outbreak was tearing through Africa. He spent the entire wait openly mocking every person pulled for extra screening. Then the light turned blue on him. CDC staff in full masks and gloves took his temperature, grilled him on symptoms, and sealed his passport inside a bag. This is happening because of the Ebola outbreak in Africa.

Replying to @pmnewsnigeria
The headline of this news story is inaccurate and misleading. WHO has not declared Nigeria Ebola‑free. Nigeria currently has no confirmed case of Ebola following the medical evacuation of the index patient to Switzerland. Health officials are closely monitoring 52 contacts who may have been exposed. Under the International Health Regulations, a country can only be declared Ebola‑free after a 42‑day countdown following the last confirmed case testing negative twice for the virus or, in this situation, after the evacuation of the confirmed case. This period is then followed by heightened surveillance. WHO requests that this headline be retracted and corrected. It is an inaccurate interpretation of the X post made by the WHO Regional Director for Africa. @WHOAFRO

#Ebola outbreak update: Cases near 10,000 #DRC #Africa As of October 24, 2026, 88 new confirmed cases of Ebola virus disease (EVD) have been reported across three provinces: Ituri (44 cases), North Kivu (39 cases), and Haut-Uélé (5 cases). Among these, 26 community deaths were recorded (14 in North Kivu, 11 in Ituri, and 1 in Haut-Uélé). Additionally, 12 confirmed deaths were recorded in Ebola Treatment Centers (ETCs) (6 in Ituri and 6 in North Kivu), bringing the total number of confirmed deaths reported during this period to 38. 24 patients (12 in North Kivu, 9 in Ituri, and 3 in Bas-Uélé) have been declared recovered following two consecutive negative EVD test results. As of October 24, 2026, the DRC has recorded a cumulative total of 9,964 confirmed cases, including 4,841 deaths—a case fatality rate of 48.6%. The province of Ituri remains the epicenter, accounting for 72.0% of all reported confirmed cases and 50.0% of the new confirmed cases; meanwhile, North Kivu (which accounts for 44.3% of the new cases) has a case fatality rate of 56.1%, which is higher than the national average. No new health zones have been affected in the last 24 hours. Consequently, 66 out of 178 health zones (37.1%), spread across eight provinces, have been affected since the beginning of the outbreak.

NCDC Approves ₦100,000 Weekly Payment For People Isolated Over Ebola Outbreak The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (NCDC) has approved an emergency payment of ₦100,000 per person weekly to support people isolated or quarantined over the Ebola outbreak in the Federal Capital Territory. NCDC Director-General, Dr Jide Idris, disclosed this during a press briefing on Sunday, explaining that the support became necessary after some contacts complained about the cost of feeding, accommodation and maintaining their families while under monitoring. “We are paying for their accommodation; we are paying for their feeding. Some of them are asking for a stipend to maintain their families,” Idris said. He added that the agency was providing ₦100,000 per person weekly to cover their basic needs during isolation. “This was not planned for, but it is an emergency. We will continue to review it as we go along,” he said. Idris stressed that the responsibility should not rest solely on the FCT, urging other states to prepare the necessary funding and logistics for similar emergencies. “This is not the responsibility of the FCT alone. What we have to do for the FCT, we have to do for any other state, just in case,” he added. Nigeria had recorded one confirmed Ebola case at the time of the briefing, involving a woman who travelled from Uganda to Abuja. The case was confirmed on October 20, with 53 primary contacts identified for monitoring. The NCDC said contact tracing and health surveillance were ongoing, with contacts monitored throughout the 21-day incubation period following their last possible exposure.
