Down -56% YTD on the challenge account. Started around $700 in February in the pits of the bear market. That’s why YTD is so harsh while I worked out a real system. The goal? Get to $10,000. Sitting at $3.5k now. Crypto will do that when the move goes against the structure. Long $BTC and $ETH with options on both to collect income and hedge while I wait for the upcoming bull market. Late night $BTC options analysis: BTC price has been soft while DVOL has been rising into the high 30s. Rising price with falling vol is usually the healthier look. The market is pricing a little more choppy movement and this usually means a bit more demand for protection as the price drifts. Doesn’t mean a big move is coming. It just means the options market isn’t as relaxed as it was a week or two ago. Source: Deribit
