Down -56% YTD on the challenge account.
Started around $700 in February in the pits of the bear market. That’s why YTD is so harsh while I worked out a real system. The goal? Get to $10,000.
Sitting at $3.5k now. Crypto will do that when the move goes against the structure.
Long $BTC and $ETH with options on both to collect income and hedge while I wait for the upcoming bull market. Small $MSTR position. Tiny short oil.
Documenting the whole thing on YouTube.
Small accounts can still grow if the system holds.

Crypto options desk update:
Set up for next week with the midterms coming up.
- long bitcoin:native
- long ethereum:native
- long $MSTR
- short $BRENTOIL
Keeping it real simple.
Road to $10,000
Weekly recap (23–30 Oct):
bitcoin:native opened ~$81K, hit $84.5–85K midweek on ETF inflows, closed ~$76.5–$78K (−4–6%). Testing lows.
Binance lost ~$6.3B in largest crypto hack (~20–30 min, multi-chain, NK-linked). ~50% frozen; Binance covering. Triggered long liqs & risk-off; BTC low ~$76.5K.
Spot ETF flows strong early (hundreds of M to >$1B) then outflows; net mixed.
Deribit monthly expiry Fri (~$10–11B). Settled near max pain $78K. Put skew elevated. DVOL also elevated.
Liqs ~$1–2B (mostly longs).
Macro: Fed held 3.75–4%. Hawkish; infl elevated. 2 dissenters for hike. Pre-midterms (3 Nov). Brent ~$114 on Iran/Hormuz. Gold <$4k. Tech/AI wobbled; risk assets sensitive to oil/Fed/geo.
Impact: short term price driven by Fed, oil, geo + hack. Leverage cleaned; options priced risk. Hack is exchange issue, not bitcoin:native. Protocol intact; funds covered. ETF flows return post-noise. Long term bitcoin:native case (fixed supply, non-sovereign) intact amid fiscal/infl/geo stress.
Neutral short term: chop & event risk until hack settles & midterms pass. Multi-year case intact. Position, don’t predict.
Crypto options desk update:
Portfolio EOD after a brutal week.
- long 0.16 bitcoin:native avg entry $65,800
- Long 1.2 ethereum:native avg entry $2,179
- Long 19 contracts $MSTR avg $127
- Short 14 contracts $BRENTOIL avg $114
I also have options on bitcoin:native and ethereum:native for income and as a hedge.
Goal: $10,000
Sit back. Relax. Buy the dip. Have a long time horizon. Check back in the next 6 months. Thank me later.
Currently short 14 contracts of $BRENTOIL. I'll ride this up to $120 per barrel where it might top. Let's see what happens. I'm expecting something positive between Iran and the USA after the midterms.
Crypto options desk update:
Net Liq fell below $3,000 - again this is due to the panic surrounding the Binance hack.
The goal is still for the portfolio to get to $10,000
FYI: if $MSTR goes back to $300-$500. I’ll be making $3,000-$7,000 of profit alone on one position. Which will easily get my account to $10,000 not counting the other positions that will be in profit.
That’s the vision and that’s why I’m happy to buy every dip and want the market to crash harder
If the biggest crypto hack in history that happened on Binance can’t get bitcoin:native to $40,000 then it won’t go there anything soon.
This is your last chance to buy any major dip that happens here.
Here’s what the Binance hack gave me so far:
- Lower $MSTR entry / 18 contracts @ $131
- Lower ethereum:native entry / 1.2 long @ $2,179
- Higher $BRENTOIL entry / short 14 contracts @ $113
- My bitcoin:native long is still chilling at a very nice entry of $65,800
Where others see fear and panic I see opportunity.
Damnn 😳
