This seems like something that he could have considered when he was Commissioner on the TTC Board for four years
The City told runners to take the TTC. But the subway didn’t open until 8 a.m…the same time the marathon started. As mayor, I’ll start subway service at 6 a.m. on marathon day and require advance transit plans for major sporting events and concerts. On October 26, vote for a city that moves.

If you live in, let's say Chesley, Ontario and have a medical emergency between the hours of 5PM and 7AM, or on the weekend, your ER is closed. Yet, Doug Ford's government is blowing $50 million on removing bike lanes in Toronto. chesleyfoundation.ca/our-hos…
Work to restore vehicle lanes on Bloor Street West was scheduled to begin tonight but was halted by protesters. Make no mistake: these bike lanes are coming out. We have a clear mandate and we will deliver.

If you live outside of Toronto, the Ontario government is blowing $50 million of you tax dollars on ripping bike lanes out of Toronto. This is money that could be spent on keeping your local hospital's ER open or fixing your local school's roof.

What 6ixbuzz and CP24 do to a city
It's annoying that Bradford is even close to Olivia in the advance polls

🚨 #BREAKING: MPP @tylerwatt just exposed the real reason Doug Ford gutted OSAP. Introducing Doug Ford's $1B OSAP scandal: How Ford let one-fifth of Ontario's student grants go to just SEVEN private career colleges, ignored years of warnings, then cut grants for EVERY student. We've asked the Auditor General for a full audit. #onpoli

Ontario Update: 1) Every major teachers' union is about to go on strike 2) Ford is spending $48 million of your $ on ripping up bike lanes 3) Ontario has biggest deficit in its history and smallest funding per person on education and healthcare 4) The new subway line is billions over budget Tell us again about Conservatives fiscal responsibility?

Over the weekend, the Bradford campaign challenged the media to do this "scavenger hunt" to uncover supposed places where Olivia Chow frittered away the provincial New Deal money. Challenge accepted. From my newsletter this week, here’s what I found.

This definitely helps explain the fawning comments on Brad's Instagram (where he restricts replies) compared to the more realistic responses from actual people who know him/have worked with him/his Beaches-East York constituents that you'll find under his Twitter/Facebook posts.

“Nobody is minding the books,” says the man who was literally Vice-Chair of the Budget Committee. Brad, I am begging you to read your own LinkedIn.
As Toronto's mayoral race continues, Brad Bradford is accusing Olivia Chow of mishandling taxpayer money and billions of dollars given by the province for operating the Gardiner Expressway and the DVP.  toronto.citynews.ca/2026/09/…

"This is the problem with Bradford: he just makes things up, even when the facts are readily available."
This is demonstrably false. As Chief Planner, I conducted a rigorous line-by-line review of the department’s budget every year. I was required to. The same practice continues across City divisions: expenditures are scrutinized and justified in detailed, publicly available budget briefing notes. Why make a claim that the public record so clearly disproves? This is the problem with Bradford: he just makes things up, even when the facts are readily available. Does he simply assume no one will bother to check?

Brad Bradford has been a Toronto city councillor since 2018 and was vice-chair of the Budget Committee. If City Hall is an elaborate scavenger hunt and nobody knows where the money went, Brad, you’ve had a map and a seat at the table for eight years. 😭
Looking for a challenge? Somewhere hiding in the City is more money than any provincial government has ever given City Hall. Your property taxes still went up 20%. Where did the money go? Swipe for the challenge. Go find it.

Brad Bradford: we've not had a line-by-line review of the city budget in 15 years.

🚨 Oh my god. Brad Bradford’s campaign is reportedly using an Israeli app that gives supporters AI-generated comments to post under their own names. But somehow that is not even the wildest part of this story. 🧵
The National Observer’s Rory White reports Toronto mayoral hopeful Brad Bradford is using an app that feeds supporters AI-generated comments to post on social media for “rewards” & detects criticism then tasks supporters to spread counter-narratives. nationalobserver.com/2026/09…

While Toronto rips out bike lanes.
We've grown London's network of Cycleways from 90km in 2016 to over 450km today. The number of cycle journeys have soared to 1.5m a day. We're not stopping there ... Great to see the progress on the new cycleway construction in Woolwich on route to Charlton @Royal_Greenwich

I’m sorry, I recognize her greatness and her achievements, but Sabalenka is my least favorite athlete on the planet right now. Horrible attitude, zero sportsmanship, never credits her opponents after a loss. Great player, bad person.
