No. Right wing podcasters and influencers lost this election months before the bombs dropped. By March 2025, the damage this arrogance had already done was irreparable. By September 10th, there was no one left to tug the leash. Blaming everyone but yourselves has been the losing, cowardly strategy all along though, so I’m not expecting anyone to start taking accountability now.
But if you think the right wing media did a good job retaining the base that got Trump elected in 2024, you’re delusional.

Why did republicans lose?
It's simple.
Gas prices are too high. That's most of it.
The secondary issue is that men, specifically white men, were disenfranchised.
Women made up the majority of job gains in months like August... and foreign-born workers gained more jobs than American men.
Foreign interests and foreign labor were pandered to, promoted, and the republicans tried to gaslight Americans that "legal immigration" is always a positive. Meanwhile, the core demographic that votes R was sidelined in favor of gassing up minorities, women, and foreigners.
Deportations ended up being a dog-and-pony show, and none of the declassifications amounted to anything.

My fears are this:
With the expected blue wave, the Democrats will not hesitate. They will begin immediately stripping all Americans of their civil rights. They will burn the Constitution, and if you go against the Marxist/Islamist agenda, they will put you against a wall.
These next two years are going to be harrowing to say the least, and incredibly dangerous.

Republicans were handed a trifecta and a mandate in 2024, yet Congress, specifically the Senate, did nothing but undermine President Trump and leave him to govern via temporary executive orders that ended up in protracted legal battles with activist judges that were never held to account.
John Thune allowed over 100 critical House-passed bills to die in the Senate because he refused to nuke the filibuster, something every Democrat has said they’ll do if they take back control.
Republican voters begged for 2 years to get any type of election integrity legislation passed, and John Thune refused.
Chuck Grassley refused to get rid of blue slips to get all of Trump’s judicial nominees confirmed, but had plenty of time to upload videos of himself at Dairy Queen.
Less than 20% of Trump’s EO’s were codified into law.
This was the LEAST productive Congress in history, taking 364 days off.
Why would Republican voters feel inspired to go out and vote for people who literally do nothing with the power given to them?

The pollsters told you Guam was a Democrat blowout... 57.9% for the Democrat, 35.4% for the Republican. A 22-point wipeout.
Then the people actually voted. Republican Tony Ada won 51.5 to 48.2 and flipped the governor’s mansion RED. The pollsters missed by 26 points. Stop believing them.
