I know one thing for sure, I will not talk bad about other projects because I respect everyone who is trying to do something in this market. Talk shit all you want. It stinks.

Siempre.
Saludos
Haskell.
TxFlow is Hyperliquid from Temu
They forked Hyperliquid's Arbitrum bridge and changed the name. They copied HyperUnit too and forgot to change the name: txrelay[.]com literally says "Unit is the asset tokenization layer on TxRelay". The frontend, the API and the fees are Hyperliquid's. Even the slogan. The L1 is closed source, with Hyperliquid's naming on everything: TxCore, Tx-BFT, TIPs
Hyperliquid is closed source too, but it has 27 validators that each post prices, and anyone can run a node to check them. TxFlow has 5 validators, all its own, nothing you can run, and one key that acts as the entire oracle. The same key sits on the bridge multisig
So it's a centralized exchange secured by a 3/4 multisig. Their own audit says those keys "can propose arbitrary withdrawals"
And the growth plan is KOLs shilling ref codes

We still have a lot to do to prove ourselves. My first ever role was in public relations as an 18 year old intern in a major North American city. What I learned then is still true now, there is no such thing as bad press. The more critics we have the more we will do to strive to prove them wrong. Our depth for crypto pairs is more than competitive to our competitors in the “new” dex category. Our mobile app is far ahead of a lot of other products. Skepticism is ok, talking and acting in bad faith is less okay. But this is CT so, it is what it is.

I am shocked by all the drama around TxFlow @TxFlow_L1 on X. I don't like emotions in things like this. I like facts. That's why I dug a little into the topic, and here is what I found.
- TxFlow really used some of Hyperliquid's smart contracts. The bridge contract is a fork. In crypto, bridges have always been a weak spot. There have been so many bridge hacks. Hyperliquid's bridge is battle-tested. Ok.
- TxFlow used some similar phrasing to Hyperliquid in the UI. In the tooltips, etc. That's a mistake. Is it critical? Of course it's not.
- The consensus layer and trading engine are built by TxFlow team from the ground up. That's the code they built entirely. That's a huge part of the DEX...
- Validators: Hyperliquid launched mainnet in the first quarter of 2023 (~3.5 years ago) with only several validators. Expanded the pool later on. TxFlow launched mainnet just 5 months ago... Of course TxFlow can't have 27 validators like Hyperliquid has now.
Yes, TxFlow really used some Hyperliquid code. But calling it a "low-effort copycat" is too much. People ignore that the projects are very different at the same time:
TxFlow has a very different marketing approach with BDs onboarding traders. It has a very different referral program. It has different liquidity sources. It has a unique UI.
TxFlow has pretty good spreads for some pairs. The funding rates are pretty stable on the assets I trade.
It's live for 5 months, but I didn't see any stories of poor performance or liquidation issues that usually occur on new DEXes.
It never had security issues.
Calling TxFlow a "low effort copycat" is just not right. The team put HUGE effort into making TxFlow work fine. From my experience, it's a pretty good DEX that works better than many DEXes out there.
I am not an advocate. I just want to show the other side of the coin many people forgot about.

some @TxFlow_L1 potential mafs
• 1.5M points per week
• starts oct 16 runs through end Q1 (24 epochs)
• 1.5M x 24 = 36M
• assuming season 0 gets 9M retroactive points (complete guesswork)
base case (?) - 1b fdv, 1b tokens, 20% supply airdrop = $4.44 per point.
what do you think?
if you want to try it out, still pretty early, currently entered second week, use the code TXKIRBY for 5% off fees

points got a lot of attention this week, and we've already made adjustments based on your feedback. thank you for that.
three things i want to share:
we didn't start txflow to run points, launch, and walk away. we see a real shift coming in global finance, and we want to build an open platform where more people get a fair share of that growth.
most perp dexes are apps built on someone else's chain. txflow runs on its own l1, the same path hyperliquid took, because the goal is to be infrastructure for how the world trades, not just another app.
and txflow will be one of the few fair launches out there. we don't have the long list of vc investors most perp dexes carry, so there's no big insider allocation waiting to be sold on the people who actually use and support us.
points are the start. the l1 is our foundation and ambition. fair launch is our commitment.
