He was an arrogant racist prick.
Veeri Sb, Colin Powell was a shameless war propagandist who peddled fabricated WMD claims to deceive the world and justify the slaughter of hundreds of thousands of Iraqis. He was complicit in one of modern history’s most despicable wars, alongside Rumsfeld and Cheney.

Dr Sb the general observation is that the leadership always stood beside u.Stood beside u when u did ur medicine.Stood beside u when u became MLC. Stood beside u when u lost.Stood beside u when u became MLA.Yet it seems u are grumbling.About time u stand beside ur leadership!
“Leadership is solving problems. The day soldiers stop bringing you their problems is the day you have stopped leading them. They have either lost confidence that you can help or concluded you do not care.Either case is a failure of leadership” Gen Colin Powell Ex US Sec o State.

While travelling frequently on the Srinagar–Anantnag–Kulgam–Qazigund National Highway, it is deeply distressing to see ambulances stranded, students missing classes and ordinary citizens waiting 15–30 minutes, sometimes even hours, for convoy movement. What fault have our people committed to endure such hardships? I earnestly appeal to @OfficeOfLGJandK @manojsinha_ Sb and the concerned authorities to explore practical traffic management measures that uphold essential security protocols while ensuring uninterrupted passage for ambulances and minimising public inconvenience. Security is paramount, but so is the well- being of our people. Security and compassion must go hand in hand. Let governance be reflected not just in policies, but in the everyday lives of citizens through dignity, sensitivity and meaningful relief.

Art 370 was never an "IMPOSITION". It was part of the Constituition which mirrored the mutually agreed Instrument of Accession signed between Maharaja Hari Singh, erstwhile ruler of J&K and the Union of India. Both parties took around 6 months to reach to a concensus on IOA.
And yet some leaders & parties repeatedly demanded restoration of Article 370. Parties in J&K may have vested political interests but mainstream national parties? Defies logic. Nothing justified Article 370 imposition in the first place & nothing justifies seeking its restoration

The Deputy Chief Minister is from Jammu, the Tribal Minister is from Jammu. Meanwhile how many Muslims does the BJP have in its cabinet? We are not the BJP. Relax.
Cabinet Expansion or Cabinet of Exceptions? FROM TODAY, J&K CM OMAR ABDULLAH CABINET WILL HAVE NO REPRESENTATION FROM JAMMU. Four new ministers have been inducted, all from the Kashmir Valley. Meanwhile, Jammu-based minister Satish Sharma has been dropped. Voters of Jammu being punished for overwhelmingly voting for BJP? Doesn't the latest expansion deepen the regional imbalance?

Why nave ministers submitted resignations? All ministers have submitted their resignations to Chief Minister Omar Abdullah ahead of the cabinet expansion. This is a standard political practice, not just in Jammu and Kashmir. It is called putting the cabinet at the disposal of the Chief Minister. It is a collective step. It gives free hand to CM to reconstitute cabinet. All ministers are technically resigning to the CM, not to the Lieutenant Governor. So it remains an internal party exercise. The CM then forwards only those resignations to Lok Bhavan which he wants to accept. Submission of resignation does not mean non-retention. The CM will decide who will be retained. Most ministers are likely to be retained, along with induction of 3-4 new faces into the council of Ministers.

Replying to @Champ4gneP4ki
This set of (alleged) 1937 letters was published by Jinnah in 1944, but Jinnah could not produce the originals, nor his own exchange of letters. In one of these alleged letters, Iqbal allegedly annoints Jinnah as leader of Muslims, but marks it "confidential and private".

It proves that the Chief Minister and his team cares and understands. While the whole lot of you create scripted dramas and orchestrated noise. ‘Quod Erat Demonstrandum’.
Congratulations to the MBBS interns & let’s take a lesson from the first success story of peaceful struggle in J&K post the 2024 elections. The hike in MBBS stipend from 12,300 to 25,000 is a victory for everyone who feels that their pain falls on deaf ears. It has proved that when people stand together & unity becomes discipline, even the most arrogant Govt has to kneel. This victory belongs to every intern who joined the peaceful protest despite threats, to everyone who stood by them, and even to those whose faith was shattered that nothing positive will ever come out in Kashmir. Let this be the beginning of reclaiming our rights. From the unjust Reservation policy to unemployment, to a broken education system, to the right to a dignified life, we will fight & we will win. In Sha Allah! Long live student unity. Long live the struggle. Long live Kashmir!

Absolute rubbish! What Sajad is saying is absolute nonsense. Some lower staff may be playing foul. You should have reported it to the concerned officials.
Well explained. And personal experience, we aren’t even getting those 4 meters. We are told you need to buy the cable yourself.

You fool, don’t you know HOME isn’t under his jurisdiction ?! Now STOP embarrassing him more than yourself. SIT!

Read the date on the article. You brought us to our knees. Got our state broken into pieces. Got our special status shredded to bits and yet you have the cheek. People of J&K remember @shangpal sb . They aren’t fools!

Muslim Conference's 1935 session is key to understanding how Iqbal's 1934 advice shaped the formation of National Conference. The outreach began here, led by party president Ch. Abbas & Gen. Sec. Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah. Nehru wasnt in scene. He 1st met Abdullah in Oct 1937.

You do know that you & your ilk can never ever attain the stature of Sher e Kashmir SMA.He lives in the hearts of most of the Kashmiris. And FYI the people of J&K remember and will never forget how your MaMa, your party and before that your Grand Father helped destroy our state.
The first person who went against India was not Syed Ali Shah Geelani or Maqbool Bhat but Sheikh Abdullah himself. Way back in the 1950s, it was he who sowed the seeds of separatism among the people and then used it as a bargaining chip to blackmail Delhi that either he remains in power or Kashmir will not stay with India.

For the record: it was the poet philosopher Mohammad Iqbal who conceptualized and pressed for converting Muslim Conference into broad-based National Conference, to widen the scope of struggle against Dogra monarchy in #Kashmir

Since PDP workers seem reluctant to openly identify themselves with the party, perhaps because of its long record of political betrayal, here’s a brief historical record of what the party actually did - even before the 2000s.
On the long history of J&K's electoral disempowerment, mushrooming of Independent candidates in the valley, & Jamaat participation, do hear me.

For the record: During Sadruddin Buch Mujahid's exile in Lahore, Allama insisted on a broad-based political formation in #Kashmir, which eventually emerged as National Conference. Ch. Abbas brought the resolution, described National Conference as "new attire of the movement".
