#Autistic children are being denied assessment because they are not outwardly disruptive, even though they are suffering terribly inwardly.
This causes me great anguish as I know the dreadful price they may end up having to pay (I was diagnosed Autistic five years ago, aged 58).

Labeling something as “special” is the way that an ableist society makes the human needs of disabled people a burden.
