Confidently incorrect.
AIs are on the way to becoming politicians

Github charges 10x more than Windows/Linux for building an iOS app on MacOS via Github Actions ( for Pull Requests/etc).
I've now got the local Mac Mini wired up as the build machine so that GitHub Actions uses it for building.
Google search has been crap for over half a decade now.
With their AI search, it’s become practically unusable.
In the early days of internet search, one of the services was Ask Jeeves.
Nowadays, I’m finding myself using Ask Claude.

RIP Patrick Stewart. What an actor. I still can’t believe he agreed to do this scene. And he didn’t even mind when I ruined every take. Legend.
Wouldn't a Bitcoin Origins movie be interesting ?
Not this one, of course

This is what AI is made for. Murtaugh is too old for this 💩 and Riggs has to find a new partner. I absolutely love how they brought in every character from that era and even combined two different characters for one actor in a couple different scenes. 🤣🤣🤣💥🔫
So the brand new Badgerys Creek Western Sydney International airport is just another Melbourne airport ?
No train station.
I know the line is currently under construction (better than Melbourne's situation).
However the purpose of project management and infrastructure construction is so the roads, buses, lines, and trains are all ready by the same date.
The European Commission has just announced an agreement whereby English will be the official language of the European Union rather than German, which was the other possibility. As part of the negotiations, His Majesty's Government conceded that English spelling had some room for improvement and has accepted a 5-year phase-in plan that would be known as "Euro-English".
In the first year, 's' will replace the soft 'c'. Sertainly, this will make the sivil servants jump with joy. The hard 'c' will be dropped in favor of the 'k'. This should klear up konfusion and keyboards kan have one less letter. There will be growing publik enthusiasm in the sekond year when the troublesome 'ph' will be replased with the 'f'. This will make words like 'fotograf' 20% shorter!
In the 3rd year, publik akseptanse of the new spelling kan be expected to reach the stage where more komplikated changes are possible. Governments will enkorage the removal of double leters which have always ben a deterent to akurate speling. Also, al wil agre that the horible mes of the silent 'e' in the languag is disgrasful and it should go away.
By the 4th year, peopl wil be reseptiv to steps such as replasing 'th' with 'z' and 'w' wiz 'v'. During ze fifz year ze unesesary 'o' kan be dropd from vords kontaining 'ou' and similar changes vud of kurs be aplid to ozer kombinations of leters. After ze fifz yer ve vil hav a rali sensibl ritn styl. Zer vil be no mor trubl or difikultis and evriun vil find it ezi tu undrstand ech ozer.

As mentioned in other posts, the original database for Bitcoin was going to be the Tsunami Record Manager, however their licencing meant I had to go another route.
The Bitcoin client UI was going to be a tad fancier than the wxWidgets one we ended up with.
This is the (still working) TRM Demo program I made in Win32Asm back in 2003.
I made an effort to make the UI interface almost identical to their offical PowerBasic release.
It's an example of how to call TRMPro.DLL functions from within Masm32 applications.
You can see what I had to do to make the logo appear.
Going through some very old drives.
Yikes !
Here's something from September 2010:
This is pretty close to what I looked like during the initial Bitcoin development from 2008.

As Raspberries have the lowest calorie count to fibre ratio, does that mean anyone consuming raspberries is extreme right-wing ?
Better tell my mum !
Was it stated that this demo car was an EV and had a battery plus wheel motors ?
Maybe the entire thing was a car-shaped rigid dirigible and was entirely moved via fans and thrusters ?

All the people screeching about the Tesla Roadster flying car demo don't get it.
Nobody thinks this is going to be a practical flying car sold to the mass market, and you just look like a fool debating it.
Elon doesn't, Tesla doesn't, the engineers working on it don't, and any sensible public or Tesla investor doesn't.
They know they aren't going to sell more than a handful or them or whatever for funsies, that's why it's literally "invite only" on the order page.
There is absolutely no sensible business decision to spend 7 years working on this, they know it's going to be a negative return on investment. Heck, if they do get sold there is high likelihood it's going to get someone killed, and that's really bad for business. Just the normal rear Thrust version is probably going to kill people.
But they do it anyway for the reasons this poster on the EEVblog forum said. No wonder engineers fall over themselves to work for an Elon company.
All flying is "stop falling".
"There is an art to flying, or rather a knack. The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss."
Same thing occurs for orbiting bodies.
Luckily for us all, the satellites orbiting Earth are continuously missing us.
