Wouldn't TCO matter ?
What’s happening in the AI-powered reverse engineering and decompilation is absolutely insane. Pretty soon all software will be de facto open-source. AI is coming for everything and everyone.

Indians are the best. 🇮🇳 Here in America, UAE, everywhere!
1986: Indian flight attendant Neerja Bhanot saved 360 passengers from a plane hijacked by Palestinian terrorists, sacrificing her own life. 2026: Indian origin pilot Smit Machhar saved 180 passengers from an Omani attacker, risking his own life. When humanity is in danger, Indians step up. 🇮🇳

Hero
Had this man not found the courage to fight back after being repeatedly attacked with an axe capable of cutting through metal—while bleeding profusely—and had the presence mind to trigger the hijack/emergency code, initiate the emergency response and open the cockpit door to allow passengers to assist him, the aircraft’s subsequent dive could have had catastrophic consequences. Had that aircraft not been recovered, the geopolitical consequences for the Middle East could have been profound and potentially irreversible. Sometimes history turns on the courage, resilience and presence of mind of one person. Yes. One Indian man.

wow. this is extraordinary bravery.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu: My salute to the Indian pilot Captain Smit Machchhar for his extraordinary bravery. Despite being stabbed and seriously injured, he fought back, resisted, opened the cockpit door, and enabled passengers and crew to overpower the attacker — preventing a catastrophic mid-air disaster. He saved the lives of 174 people, including Israeli citizens and other nationals. I wish Captain Machchhar a speedy and full recovery. He is a true hero.

AI Context Layers are very much overrated. API's are becoming intelligent, Context windows breadth is growing at a rapid pace then why would you want to sync data to a file ? #ai #contextlayer #mcp #api

I would say this way for engineers: Highly passionate , experienced and and engineers did with the persistent computer agents built and monitored by our engineers over two months - working for over 18 hours a day. this way the engineers get the right value for their hardwork.
We built a replacement for AWS DynamoDB, a key-value database for fast web content fetches. This was done with two engineers and hundreds of persistent Computer agents over two months. Migrating to our in-house database will save us up to a hundred million dollars yearly.

API = Software talks to software MCP = Humans talk to software #api #ai #mcp

What stops replit not have their own stripped down version of linear and own more pieces of journey and this is a critical one
The Bull Case for Linear Being a $100BN Company: "Linear is the clear winner. They have built an agentic product first that allows us to build 100x more software, and that means 100x more features than ever before. Humans cannot keep up with it, and humans still have to work with agents. If every human on your team's gonna build 500 features and 1,000 issues and you have 10 people on your team, you need a process and a system of record for managing all these issues with your agents. We need a new system of record for it. The team at Linear has figured it out. We have seen an explosion, 50x more agent usage than 90 days ago. This will seem cheap when Replit's at $15BN, Lovable's at $100BN, because Linear will be the one powering them all". @jasonlk Love to hear your thoughts, what is your bull case for Linear @karrisaarinen @stephzhan @adambain @dickc @soleio @zoink @Mkclements

MicroVM's are new home for agents. Everyone can get their own personal agent. Each customer can get their own personal AI agent. Amazing time. #ai #microvm #personalagent

Opus 5 Verbose is a big problem to me and the solution to it is run this command: /config outputStyle=concise #claude #ai #verbose

You eventually realize you can only really compete with yourself. No two people start from the same starting point, so comparing where you are with where someone else is doesn’t make much sense.

A growth marketer is usually - curious, analytical, social, experimental and learn from failures. hmm.. not easy to find all in one person. Hence growth marketing is not easy and not everyone's cup of tea.

nice anology
Why stop there? Think of how many jobs would be created if the warehouse got rid of boxes and had workers carry each item individually.

For a PLG tech company, CRM = System of Record + @posthog + @stripe + Twillio + @Mail_Gun . Nothing else.

Wow. If this happens then the whole dynamics might change @chamath. Nice thought
Elon’s original vision of an open, American AI was right. He could still flip Grok to open source which could be checkmate. Why? If you flip Grok open source, you necessarily move all margins out of the model layer and down into the infrastructure (chips + CSPs) and above to apps. He owns a massive data center build, owns next gen inference AI and owns the most used app (Cursor). So arguably he would make *more* margin by doing this. Then moving the DCs to space makes even more sense.
