Why the fuck does nobody call him out on this behaviour? There is no job in the world that would allow you to speak to someone like this for asking a reasonable question.

This guy is a professional at pretending to be a dumbass.
Vance went to Yale. He knows how ranked choice voting works. He is trying to make it seem confusing when it isn't.
JD Vance on ranked choice voting: "I don't understand it. It seems to me that you have an election, the person who wins the most votes should win. That seems to be not what happens with ranked choice voting. The fact that it's so confusing to a person who pays pretty close attention to politics I think suggests we should do our elections in, like, the normal way."

Your physical peak comes earlier than you think.
A Swedish study tested the same 427 people from age 16 to 63 (nearly 50 years!)
Most physical capacity peaked around or before age 36. Shortly after the peak, people lost ~1% per year. By 63, it was more than 2% per year.
From peak to 63, people lost 37–40% of their relative VO2 max, 32–35% of their muscular endurance, and 41–48% of their muscular power.
Switching from inactive to active at any age was linked to a 6–7% bump in aerobic capacity, 11% in muscular endurance, and 4% in power. Activity didn’t change when people peaked, just how fast they declined.

Never forget, a 13-year study found that protected bike-lanes led to a drastic decline in fatalities for all road users.
ALL ROAD USERS.
What about painted bike-lanes? No safety improvement at all.
For sharrows, it’s actually safer to NOT have them.

This is why people don't want to have kids any more. This used to be entirely normal to leave your 14 y/o in charge of a household.
Now parents are arrested AND publicly shamed. Who would want to endure that?
