If Venables were really the great man everyone says he is who loves OU so much… he’d either resign or take a demotion instead of holding the university and its fanbase hostage for $51m right?

The more I look at this OU team, and the last several OU teams, I can’t conclude anything other than we made a mistake with BV. Hate it but he’s the HC and he isn’t putting a product on the field that’s even close to being good. Disagree? Why am I wrong?

It’s been there since Bob and OU fans started boasting “Big 12 championships” like Alabama does national titles around 2010. Ever since then, standards dropped. First, that was the bar, then it was qualifying for a playoff, now it is a winning season.

Oklahoma City local media and former OU players now calling for changes within the Sooners football program. The community will pressure the clueless “leaders” into making changes. It’s going to cost a lot of $$$
