Would you sign these as you, or do you have a "pseudonymic" signature as well?

What got me into reading when I was young were the Adventure" novels by Willard Price - not sure they'd be socially acceptable now though.

That's a cable. The cable plugs into the charger, whether battery pack or mains.
Replying to @wesstreeting
@wesstreeting why is this published in @thetimes, which is behind a paywall? My assumption is that it is because they pay the most per word, or perhaps bring the greatest gravitas, because wouldn't you want _everyone_ to be able to read what you've written?
Replying to @dj_davepearce
@dj_davepearce back in your Saturday morning R1 days, did you play modern tunes for ice-cream vans? My brain, and Google it seems, is failing me!

I broadly agree with your sentiment, but... You don't pay corporation tax, your company does. Council tax is nil rated for VAT. And you do get far more than a shitty bin collection service for the money. It just doesn't feel like it.

Are these the same people dodging re+election in favour of a local super-authority? I'm not sure local democracy is what it once was.

"I don't care what socioeconomic group you are - don't be a twat; it's easy not to be". Very well said!
Replying to @deepoking
@deepoking thank you. Sat on balcony in Chiang Mai in Thailand with wife of 28 years and Sun Rising comes on playlist. Perfection. How old is that record?

Damn - were heading to Vancouver; looks like we're going to have to wait until next April/May. Shame, would have been good to witness a cancel worthy joke in French.

Flying to Canada on Monday and was hoping your link would show tickets for where you're appearing over there! Appreciate it's a big country though...
Replying to @RishiSunak
@RishiSunak you've given it your all, but can we have your promise that, should you decide to stand down from Parliament prior to the next general election, you will personally pay the cost to the public purse of your by-election? #UKElection

@BBCNews Sunderland South - Labour didn't win the seat, Conservatives lost it. 51% turnout and that Reform number. Not positive for Labour. #UKElections2024

This was the first result searching twitter for tweets near Alleppey, where my wife and I currently are, having travelled from Pondy and going on to Munnar - reliving your book!

Turning comments off is a form of surrender though - people will go "off platform" where there is no moderation, which might come as a surprise for some.
@TheLastLeg Why do you not use Camel Case in your hashtags so that screen reader software can understand them and #BlindPeopleCanJoinIn ?
Replying to @JeremyClarkson
@JeremyClarkson if you're looking at the long-term life beyond @amazon of @thegrandtour then I believe a certain UK broadcaster has confirmed a gap in their schedules.
