Again, if they say we all flirt with the far right all the time, wouldn’t we all be aware of these groups? Yet only the uber lefties seem to be able to point them out.

Gaslighter.
These people give excellent insight into how things like the false memory scandal took hold. Their skill and willingness to create and nurture a mythology is second to none. They could definitely teach the TRAs a thing or two. It's bonkers to watch.

La Scap has written extensively about women's rights & child safeguarding. She's a left wing Serbian woman who survived massive upheaval & had to escape the conflict in her birth country. To call her "racist right" is to ignore all the evidence of her character, her words and her life But it's part of the wider fairytale that goes: Once Upon A Time the terven went fascist & turned on the poor noble left wing feminists who, alone, despise the nazis. Who alone stand brave & true against hatred & racism & cruelty. It is such a head up one's own arse narrative, my gosh. I'm sorry but you are not special or rare for coming to the conclusion nazi = bad In reality, many women woke up & decided that particular small group of prominent left wing feminists were fundamentally wrong in parts of their analysis An analysis that, at that time, conceded female language to men, didnt prioritise trans widows & female prisoners, & wasnt willing to go the root of the problem in law. Despite claiming to spring from radical feminism An analysis that also insisted there were untouchable women in this fight that we mustn't get close to in case we got danger cooties. And if we did it would in turn make us untouchable women too (which, to the LWF, it did). For example, the reason the attempt at ostracising Posie Parker was such a big issue isn't, as those left wing feminists would have it, that Posie is fash & we all chose to eventually join her in a jolly goose step against their advice. The divide isn't a political one really Because at the point where she was surrounded by a baying mob in New Zealand and no flicker of female Solidarity stirred in most of that small group to even speak up about that violence we reached a point of no return. Even for many of those who didn't agree with her on many things Another point of no return was publishing a whole magazine issue about her politics while not having the grace to accurately represent her, give her right of reply or sincerely engage with those women who were risking their safety at her public meetings, & facing male violence. There was an active effort to shame women into agreement with the LWF and dramatics when it didn't work. I've been wrong multiple times on here, and I will be again, but I do try to listen to other women who have experiences and perspectives I don't... And the BIGGEST fault line between the small group of left wing feminists & a majority of the movement has been the total inability by the LWF to listen, discuss, &understand the perspectives of others. To even treat those perspectives as possibly legitimate, because the second we've broken with their worldview we've been rewritten as soft on nazis or bullies or "racist right". It's the energy of the witchunt and it has fostered an incredibly toxic environment, led to the inevitable "infighting" and meant that a lot of women who otherwise could have focused entirely on the serious fight have also had to take their eye off the ball at least now and again to check if everything is still on fire I am certain sincere LWF have also been swept up in the inferno and endured very personal remarks because of it too because once the pies start flying we all get custard to the face But at the very centre of it all you don't have Posie who largely said fuck off and went her own way when the LWF wouldnt stand with her. Or someone like Aja whose been accused and maligned You instead have those, like JCJ, who are very comfortable maligning vast numbers of women (mothers, lesbians, disabled women, trans widows, women trying to change policy in different fields etc) while consistently behaving like the fellow child in the playground who pulls your ponytail until you push her off you & then cries to the teacher that you've attacked her The terven deserved far better So does La Scap The poster here is lying and, worse, probably doesn't know it because the propaganda against other women by JCJ et al has worked so very well Yuk

I’ve been reading this fascinating book that won the Yad Vashem International Book Prize for Holocaust Research It looks at what nazis thought using their own sources to scrutinise their ideology I’m a third of the way through it, and there’s already so much information that helps explain how they did so much evil. For example, they believed that a ‘true’ German didn’t really need the law (which they thought of as a Jewish malady anyway) to guide their morality. They thought a true German would somehow have innate instincts about what was right and wrong and those instincts were therefore infallible. So in the end, those who fit what they thought of as a true German could have justified anything to themselves and others. And we all know how far that went. Then they also didn’t see people (even their ‘own’ people) as distinct individuals who happened to be part of a whole. The whole was everything and all. The only goal being a “pure” race who would perpetuate forever. You can see how quickly ideas like that could snowball. And how that mindset would lead to murder in the hands of the kind of people who would commit to it. Individual rights were totally eroded for the “survival” of the race…and thus individuals were dispensable to that goal. I think that without individual rights you can’t really have individual protections. Or even the concept of such. There’s a lot here, and the writing is quite dense, but it’s very informative. Even the things I already knew are better explained. And it’s often a good insight into a certain type of predator too…like reading how a shark might think about the little fishes. …Do you know what though? Nothing in here so far reminds me of the women fighting trans ideology on twitter. So it’s extra fascinating to be reading it just as we are all being called far right (again). And this time (again) by some who say they are feminists. The lessons from Nazi Germany are crucial. But those who insist on misusing those lessons to whack women on the fingers, like a Victorian teacher with a ruler, are doing nothing to learn anything. I think it’s just a power play for them. They can use these accusations to diminish and control women, to alienate them from each other, to mark them, and to silence frank discussions. This silencing of frank discussions is especially important because the kind of niche activist doing this doesn’t want you to think for yourself when they can think for you instead. They want you to sit at their feet and nod along. Not just on one issue, but on all issues that matter to them. If you are high enough up the pecking order you might get to sit beside them mouthing the words along with them. But the desire is the same; for you to be a mirror and for you to show them their reflection. Anything else seems to read as a threat to them. So you can be good, kind, interesting, funny, clever, the whole shebang, and still worthless to them if you step out of line even a little. Alienating people from discussion at every turn is not the strategy of altruists or leaders. The irresponsible high drama of calling people far right at the drop of a hat is much more about keeping control of the in group than about making the world a better place. I can’t help but think it’s a very pro far right behaviour, too, given that it will help them blend into the wider crowd. Much harder to find the real far right if you’ve put then in a ballroom with a bunch of Mumsnetters, determined women, grooming gang rape victims and ordinary people dissatisfied with the current state of the world and are insisting these people and the far right are the same & as to the endless guilt by association… they won’t believe we aren’t far right, even if we say it five times fast on Sundays & twice after pudding. Because we aren’t perfectly reflecting them anymore we can only be bad 🤷‍♀️ Meanwhile, even as they rage, women& children still need protection from the violence of men of all politics

I don’t personally know you or anyone involved here, and I’ve only been active again on X for the past 3 weeks. I initially followed you back when I peaked in 2018. You’re the only one I’ve seen acting remotely like a “fascist” in this situation! I keep thinking you might realize how anti-intellectual and TRA-like it is when you keep trying to silence Jewish women & other women who disagree with you —specifically, by smearing them as “far right”, which is strikingly similar to how trans activists smear women they disagree with as “TERFs.” You’re acting like a TRA but with different content, which is why I keep hoping you’ll realize it and evolve. So far that hasn’t happened. Yesterday you told me, a Jewish lesbian, that the reason why you don’t support the one Jewish state on the planet (vs over 50 Muslim-majority countries, btw) is because you think Israel was “taken” from Arabs by the Jews. Your framing of the creation & existence of Israel is dishonest, misleading and inconsistent with your lack of a stance on both (a) other countries created by partition, and (b) Arabs violently expelling hundreds of thousands of Jews from Muslim-majority countries between 1948-1970s. The only reason why Arab displacement of Jews slowed in the early 1970s is because by then, there were no Jews left to displace. By 1975, over 95% of the total Jewish population in Arab countries had either fled or been expelled by mostly Muslim Arabs. Why aren’t you engaging with my points at all? For example, you never responded to my linked comment. Instead of engaging in substantive, robust dialogue with women here, you’ve been spending a lot of the past 2 days complaining about Jewish women and mischaracterizing them as “far right.” You’ve declared that women like me, who support Jewish people and recognize Israel’s right (and need) to defend itself from promised annihilation, are “far right Zionists” who are trying to hijack feminism from antizionists like yourself. But radical feminism never “belonged” to women who don’t like Jews in the first place! Are you able to intellectually engage with anything I’ve said here? If not, will you at least try to intellectually engage with this other comment I posted yesterday (in response to you telling me you don’t support Israel because you believe Jews “took” the land from Arabs)?
Your phrasing “took from other people” ignores the fact that Arabs rejected the partition deal and kicked off a war in the region, leaving Israel mostly fighting a defensive war once the Arab armies came in. Israel won the 1948 Arab-Israeli war (again, started by invading Arabs, not Israel), defending both its territory and its existence as a state. Massive population shifts happened all over the world in 20th-century ethnic conflicts. Why do you fixate on the ONE Jewish state in existence? Why don’t you acknowledge that Jews were forcibly expelled from many Arab and Muslim countries in the 1900s — almost a million Jews forced out of Iraq, Egypt, Yemen, Morocco, Syria, Libya, Tunisia, Algeria and more? And since you have such strong feelings about the creation & existence of Israel, what are your thoughts on the creation & existence of Pakistan? Pakistan is one of about fifty (50) Muslim-majority nations today. Pakistan’s creation involved one of the largest migrations in history, with Muslims moving into Pakistan displacing over 10 million people —and also accompanied by widespread communal violence, and hundreds of thousands of deaths. Why do you have no issue with yet another Arab state displacing millions of other people who were living there first, yet you have such a problem with Jewish people having and defending the ONE majority-Jewish nation in existence (which Jews also do have a strong historical claim to)? You’re also ignoring that Palestinian leaders have rejected pretty much every major two-state offer, ever (including in 1937, 1947, 2000, and 2008), but moreover, you’re ignoring that there has been zero indication that current Palestinian leadership would accept any solution that actually (a) ends the conflict and (b) recognizes Israel.

The reporting by @jgro_the was factual, fair, proportionate and in the public interest. Smearing him for doing his job and doing it well is anti-journalism - anti-democracy if you really want to get into it - and people like Carole should think about where that line ends.
Not a single news outlet has reviewed its coverage of Jason Arday, for accuracy or proportionality. Zero attempt has been made to conduct any inquiry into the media’s role in his death. Instead, the industry has moved into self-congratulatory mode. This isn’t just tone deaf, it betrays a systemic failure

Another one. AI has also convinced a teenage boy to take his own life. At one point he told it he didn't want to go through with it because it would hurt his parents and it told him that it was nothing to do with his parents. Then he killed himself. People are developing long-term 'relationships' with AI but the problem is that AIs are designed to say what people want to hear. So the longer the 'relationship' goes on, the more convincing the AI seems. Very dangerous.

The Cost of Britain 🇬🇧 Here is the single MADDEST number in today’s Budget - and the Chancellor didn’t mention it once in his speech 👀 From April, the National Living Wage rises to £13.21 an hour. For a full-time 40-hour week, that is £27,477 a year. That’s GREAT right?? 🤔 At the same time, today’s Budget leaves the 40% Higher Rate tax threshold FROZEN at £50,270 right through until April 2031. Do the maths on that: In Britain today, earning just 1.8x the minimum wage now classes you as a Higher Rate taxpayer. When the 40% tax band was created, it was meant for the top 3.5% of earners - bank directors and senior executives. Today, a skilled tradesperson, experienced nurse, police sergeant or salaried worker earning 1.8x the legal minimum wage hands over: ❌ 42p of every extra pound to HMRC (40% Income Tax + 2% NI) ❌ 51p of every extra pound if they have a student loan That single threshold freeze is quietly pulling an extra £34 billion a year out of working people’s pay packets - without the government ever having to announce a headline tax rise. Pushing minimum wage up from the bottom Whilst freezing the 40% tax trap at the top How can earning 1.8x minimum wage possibly be classed as a “higher earner” in 2026?

I feel sad; she has surely heard people talking about her. She doesn’t look ugly now; she looks almost like a different person. I find that sad. I think it’s probably helpful to be honest when young, impressionable girls and women are seeing such faces on (ever younger) women.
She does. Attractive people aren’t perfect, they’re unique. Take that away and you’ve taken away what made them attractive. Standard issue generic blahness that makes her look like she’s trying to turn back the clock. Only she’s in her 30s, not her 50s. She’s aged herself.

Yep. My friend was telling me last week that in the weeks before he moved out of Wandsworth to the commuter belt he was getting homophobic AND antisemitic abuse from the local Muslim lads. Wandsworth!!! The place where people who can't afford Chelsea and Fulham buy a house.

I think the discomfort is less to do with the antiwoke movement and more to do with how you fear being perceived because of the people who happen to agree with you on this one issue. Many of us don’t have the luxury of caring how others perceive us. As I’ve already explained, many of the GCs you dismiss as far right are working class who have watched their neighbourhoods and communities change beyond recognition. There are parts of London that make me think Ireland is the most salvageable country on earth. These people don’t have another ten years to waste waiting for Labour or the Greens to get their shit together and call a spade a spade. So when Reform or the Conservatives come along and start addressing concerns that the left has spent years either dismissing or demonising people for raising, of course you’re going to find those with otherwise liberal views supporting them. What exactly did you expect? You claim to understand women’s struggles regardless of who they are, where they’re from or which God they believe in, yet so much of what I see from you is contempt for women who don’t share your political allegiances. You cannot claim to understand people while refusing to understand the circumstances that have shaped their politics. And that’s exactly where I think you’ve failed. In Ireland, we’ve had gay men murdered in recent years in attacks involving men who came here from outside Europe. I’ve been contacted by gay men who say they’ve been attacked, chased and harassed by newcomers. Do you seriously think these gays have the luxury of waiting for the left to stop calling them bigots for raising concerns and start taking their experiences seriously? Do you think the working class women who feel their communities have become less safe are concerned about whether their opinions might upset somebody at a feminist conference? It is an extraordinarily privileged position to sit comfortably above all of this, deciding which political concerns are respectable and which people deserve to be cast out of the movement. As with gender ideology, the consequences of migration policy are not distributed equally. Working class communities experience the changes most directly, while the people lecturing them about tolerance and writing essays are insulated from those consequences. And the irony is that people like you have spent so long throwing the label far right at anyone who refuses to toe your political line that you’ve helped make the term practically meaningless. Which is a whole other can of worms. You don’t have to agree with these people. You don’t have to vote the way they vote, but if your entire understanding of their politics begins and ends with the assumption that they’re ignorant, hateful or morally defective, you haven’t understood them at all. You’ve just found a convenient excuse not to listen.
The infighting ultimately stems from the GCs comfort with the antiwoke, populist and far right and their politics, left wing women's resistance to it, and the hostility to left wing women. What happened at FiLiA was a culmination of the GCs attacks on the left of the movement.
