For one of my assignments I have to write a review on something. My tutor advised me that my ideas were too political, so I’ve decided to write a review on the London Underground. Spoiler: It’s getting 10/10 from me.

This statement is in bizarre contrast with David McCullagh’s interview with Peadar Toibín on Radio 1 this morning. The state broadcaster spent 15 minutes lecturing Toibín about the necessity of consent campaigns that clamp down on predatory (white) Irish grandparents.
The video produced by the DRCC involving grandparents does not represent the views of the Government. It was both inappropriate and demeaning to grandparents and has been removed by DRCC following my officials engagement with them.

I can't get over just how crazy and dumb Official Ireland has become in the past decade or so.
🇮🇪 The Irish state has published an advert discouraging grandparents from hugging their grandchildren, as part of a campaign designed to promote "consent".

So let me get this straight. Grandparents need to ask for consent before hugging their grandchildren, but women are branded bigots for refusing to share intimate spaces with men in dresses? So consent doesn’t matter if it’s a woman saying no. Make it make sense.
The We Consent/Dublin Rape Crisis Centre campaigns - all funded by the Irish taxpayer - have lots of fascinating stuff aside from the evil hugging grannies. This chap, for example, explaining to the women how to be a woman:

I can’t believe the taxpayer is giving 400k+ a year to a they/them woman who writes “reports” on men who chop their balls off.
Charity of the Day! TENI, Transgender Equality Network Ireland Having had a brush with insolvency in 2024 which necessitated loans from its board members, TENI is back on solid ground in 2025! It doesn't disclose its State funding, but it's included in a €400,000 envelope which also includes the European Commission and Community Foundation Ireland. It had overall income of €508k in 2025, up from €476k in 2024. No info is disclosed on €105k "donations and legacies" Its headcount fell by 25% to six, with one of them being on €60-70,000. Its CEO is Siofra Dempsey who changed her name to Daire Ruadhan Dempsey and asked for the name change to be made public on the Deed Poll register.

I’ve seen this campaign doing the rounds today and, quite frankly, I think our Government and NGOs are losing the run of ourselves. Of course children should be taught about boundaries and nobody should ever be forced into physical contact they don’t want. But we also need a bit of common sense. The relationship between grandparents and grandchildren is one of the most important bonds in Irish family life. A hug from a loving grandparent should not be presented as something strange or suspicious. Over the last few years we have seen Government talking constantly about changing traditions and redefining things that generations of Irish families grew up with. We had the referendum involving the constitutional wording around women, mothers and care in the home, which the people rejected overwhelmingly. We have seen arguments over things as simple as Christmas traditions and even what we call our festive lights. There comes a point where people are entitled to say: leave some things alone. Irish culture, family and traditions matter. Teach children boundaries, absolutely. Teach respect, absolutely. But please, can we bring some common sense back into the conversation as well?

Not at all surprised to see the (not)Mams4Trans out in support of a bill that would essentially let parents decide their child’s “gender”. I’m just wondering, why is it okay to project your pseudoscientific view of sex/gender onto your child without their consent?
At the Dail today for @RuthCoppingerSP’s Bill to recognise Intersex & Non-Binary people & to support the TDs who spoke so powerfully about making our kids, loved ones, families, & friends safer. Thank-you all. #togetherfortransrights #TransRightsAreHumanRights @IrelandIntersex

Also very interesting 🤔 xitter.cf/roisinmichaux/status/2…
All the Irish TERFS are getting “profiled” by a lockdown troon called Brendan Whelan. He’s a cycling enthusiast (tight Spandex enthusiast, many such cases) and he lost control of his masturbation compulsion during COVID. He now churns out clunky Claude-generated articles about TERFs (he’s also a prostitute, and offers “special” cycling tours wink wink). Brendan had a few drinks the other night and boasted that he had been sent to research us all, bragging about connections to @ILGAEurope. There’s “anti-gender” money out there to be made and Brendan seems to have tapped into NGO panic that they are losing the PR war. These TERF profiles may be part of the “anti-gender movement” storyboarding being rolled out by regime NGOs now that transvestites stealing women’s rights is no longer passing under the radar. Shockingly, he recently got 9.5k for “intersex ireland” from the Irish government — it’s a group he set up with fellow AGP Adeline Berry, another male transvestite prostitute. Neither have any kind of DSD. They have had meetings with the Irish health executive, @HSELive . He has boasted of being politically and nationally important. Here he is pre-trooning:

I don’t want to think about how many (very well paid) individuals were involved in this utterly bizarre advertisement. We are being run by deeply unserious people.

YOU are gonna get this woman killed. The misinformation about her is astounding. It wasn’t her shop, she was seeing her local area destroyed and was distressed. In her moment of distress she was recorded (morally and legally dubious) and now she’s being photoshopped and touted

“It’s very important for the far right for the maintenance of capitalism right now…” Coppinger says as she champions an ideology that big pharma is profiting millions off of through the sterilisation of children. People Before Profit are exactly what they claim to be against.
Paul Murphy claims Government is "policing gender" by rejecting People Before Profit's non-binary and intersex Bill. As Ruth Coppinger TD links opposition to the Bill - to introduce an X gender marker on certificates - to capitalism and Donald Trump: gript.ie/murphy-claims-govt-…

Important, heartfelt and magisterial as ever from JKR. In particular, her class analysis of gender ideology is of characteristic unerring accuracy.

Good to see a gay member of the Irish parliament call out this utter nonsense from gender ideology addled fools.
Feelings are real. So are facts. When they collide, the law must stand with the facts. That's why I'm voting no tonight on the Non-Binary and Intersex Recognition Bill.

NEWS: Ruth Coppinger's Non-Binary and Intersex Recognition Bill is up for debate today. The Countess wrote to all TDs urging them to reject this Trojan Horse bill, which is another attempt to collapse the gender ground. This bill changes the fundamental principle of a birth certificate, an accurate record of the facts of a birth, into an ideological one. This undermines women's rights and child safeguarding. People with DSDs have repeatedly asked not to be used as political pawns by trans rights activists. Vote No.

We're at a point in which straightforward common sense sounds almost revolutionary.
Sinn Fein, Labour, Soc Dems and of course PBP want to deny biological reality and allow parents to put an "X" on a new born baby's birth cert. The bill will be voted down. @RichardODonoghu @kenoflynnTD @MichaelC_IND_TD

This has nothing to do with the welfare of children and everything to do with narcissistic parents. Well said @kenoflynnTD. Anyone pushing this bill needs to get their head checked.
