I think it's sad that ppl are only talking abt the author for this, and not to explain what her manga is abt to give it visibility
So if you want to support a lesbian author and her shojo yuri abt a mystery surrounding Beethovenโs lost 10th Symphony, go buy Gansaku no Dai Juuban
Japanese mangaka Reika Kajimoto spent 880,000 yen (approximately $5,600) of her own money to purchase 1,000 copies of her manga, Gansaku no Daijuban, in a desperate attempt to prevent its cancellation.
Despite her sacrifice, it wasn't enough. The publisher decided that Volume 2 would only receive a digital release rather than a printed edition.
Kajimoto later warned other mangaka not to follow her example, explaining that buying copies yourself cannot save a series if overall sales fail to meet the publisher's expectations.

idk if you guys have ever been in a server that is solely creative. it dies. it dies so quick. you need people who will glaze creators and read fics and gas up art bc creatives rarely do that

sorry oomfs to enter discourse but this is pissing me off LOL. this is exactly the problem with fandom culture rn THOSE AREN'T FREELOADERS THOSE ARE YOUR FELLOW FANS. you are all fans. FANdoms can't survive without FANS. fandoms need lurkers too!! that's the MAJORITY!!
