There are missiles that have wings and they can be the size of a Lear Jet. Just sayin'.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The crash in the Florida mobile home park was a Learjet 60, registration N722BD, which departed Austin, Texas for the Bahamas. It was tracked on Flightradar24 and is under investigation by the FAA and NTSB as an aircraft accident with 9 fatalities.

One of the coolest things I have, and possibly the only one out there.
In 2024 when the Thunderbirds came to Pensacola for the Homecoming show, they teamed up for the super delta over Pensacola Beach.
One of the TBirds was kind enough to take this print and get each member of both teams to sign it!
The bonus, if you look toward the bottom of the photo you see this little extra smoke trail...
That was the LEGEND Rob Holland sneaking into the pic.

1. Brazil’s aircraft carrier is a helicopter carrier, not a fixed wing or VTOL capable.
2. Brazil’s current long/medium range radars and SAM launchers would be obliterated by EA-18s and F-35s.
3. The “4.5” gen aircraft in question is 12 F-39E’s and 1 F-39F.
They have no chance.
Brazil has aircraft carriers, advanced radar, and 4.5 generation aircraft.
If Delta Force DARED to step into the jungle, they’d be torn to shreds.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Brazil has no operational fixed-wing aircraft carriers, only one helicopter carrier. Its air force has around 13 Gripen 4.5-generation fighters and 5 E-99 airborne early warning aircraft.

NEW: Multiple federal sources confirm to @FoxNews that the suspect arrested for using a sledgehammer to behead a WW2 Iwo Jima monument in Quantico, VA on Tuesday is a Mexican illegal alien & former DACA recipient whose legal status expired this year.
Miguel Alonso Maldonado Soriano has now been charged with felony destruction of property and trespass with intent to damage property.
Per federal sources, Soriano illegally crossed into the U.S. in December 1999. He was granted DACA by the Obama administration in 2014 and had it extended for years, most recently by the Biden admin in 2024, but he lost his DACA status in August of this year when it wasn’t renewed by the Trump administration.

As Lufthansa’s Airbus A340-600 operates its final scheduled passenger service, let’s give this long-haul workhorse its flowers.
The A340-600 is an absolute beast of an aircraft, and here’s what makes it special.
At 75.27 metres long, it was the world’s longest passenger aircraft until the Boeing 747-8 arrived.
Unlike the A340-300 with four CFM56 engines(hairdryes), which we avgeeks joke about saying "needs the Earth’s curvature to help it climb," the -600 packs four Rolls-Royce Trent 556 engines producing roughly 56,000 lbf of thrust each.
Then there’s Lufthansa’s coolest cabin: instead of keeping all the washrooms on the main passenger deck, Lufthansa moved five lavatories to the lower deck, accessed by stairs. On an 11-hour economy flight, that extra walk is a chance to stretch your legs and get the blood flowing.
It’s a clever use of cabin space, freeing up room on the main deck for passenger seating.
And underneath this stretched fuselage sits an additional centreline main landing gear, helping distribute the loads imposed by this massive aircraft.
An unmistakable silhouette. Farewell, you magnificent quadjet.

That’s a damn funny looking submarine right there.
Tell me again how many carriers the ChiComs have?
