Families caring for children with complex disabilities show extraordinary resilience every day. My late brother, Champ, lived with lissencephaly. Growing up alongside him, I saw first-hand the challenges of navigating appointments, fragmented services and the constant search for support. Read my piece for @ConHome on why @Conservatives should champion better support for families living with rare conditions 👇🏻

Britain’s hospices provide extraordinary care, yet too many face an uncertain financial future. The Chancellor must not overlook them in tomorrow’s Budget. My piece for @ConHome on why we need a more sustainable approach to hospice funding 👇

Andy Burnham and John Healey want you to forget about the Budget I won't. Because your taxes are heading for a record high to pay for ever more welfare Don't let them forget it.

That trend of Badenoch since late summer early autumn of last year is quite something. Trying finding a historical precedent for it and am struggling.
Replying to @LukeTryl
After a downer last week, party leader approvals are up. Burnham is up 2 to +10. Badenoch jumps even more to +8 her highest net approval we’ve recorded. Davey is up 1 to -11, Lowe up 2 to -16, Farage up 2 to -26 and Polanski up 2 to -34.

Shabana has made a serious mistake surrendering to Labour MPs. So I’m putting people on notice - when we get into government we will scrap this weak policy. Immigration is too high. Labour are making a bad situation much, much worse. The Conservative Party is under new management. I accept this problem started under a previous Conservative govt. Many of those in that Cabinet have gone to Reform where they belong. And I’ve got a proper plan to fix it👇

We are spending far too much on benefits for people who can work but choose not to. That money should be going towards defending our country.

Written off two years ago. Now just two points behind the Labour government and ahead of Reform in this poll. Under Kemi Badenoch, the @Conservatives are bouncing back with policies to make Britain stronger and get us building again! 💪🇬🇧

The Conservative Party has overtaken Reform UK in the electionmapsuk polling tracker. This is the first time the Tories have polled ahead of Reform since January 2025.

A welcome sign of momentum for the @Conservatives, with younger voters increasingly part of that picture. Plenty of work ahead, but every reason to be ambitious about the next General Election! 👏🏻

Great to see, especially that it’s also driven by a significant increase in younger voters backing the @Conservatives. Our pro growth policies on stamp duty, childcare, NICS and student loans are getting through 👏

This is unacceptable. Labour's disjointed, last-minute approach from Labour will leave us economically dependent on China. That is why I will bring trade, economic policy and military strategy together to ensure Britain is protected from Chinese coercion.

Reform trying to spin council by-elections 🤔 Here are some more accurate figures 👇 Council by-election wins since 16 September: 🔵 Conservatives: 12 🔴 Labour: 10 🟠 Lib Dems: 4 🟦 Reform: 2
Reform UK recorded a resounding 31.2% vote share across yesterday’s by-elections, way ahead of both Labour and the Tories. Britain wants Reform. 🇬🇧

🏥Earlier this week I attend a drop-in with @hospiceuk to hear directly about the pressures facing the hospice sector. The challenges are stark: 🧑‍🦳 Regional variations in funding range from £9.09 per head to as little as £1.25 👨‍⚕️ 1 in 3 people who need palliative care miss out on the support they need 🏥 6 in 10 hospices have made, or are planning to make, cuts to frontline services this year 📋 Hospice UK’s four-point plan is calling for: 💷 Full funding for specialist palliative care 🤝 Proper NHS contracts for hospices 👩‍⚕️ Funding to cover rising wage bills 🇬🇧 National accountability to ensure fair and equal provision of palliative care across the country Hospices provide invaluable care and support to patients and their loved ones at incredibly difficult moments. It was informative to hear from Hospice UK about what needs to change to protect these vital services for the future. 💙 📣 Find out more about Hospice UK’s campaign for fair funding and how you can support their work here: hospiceuk.org/our-campaigns/… #HospiceCare #PalliativeCare #HospiceUK #Healthcare #NHS

Lots of tinkering around the edges and throwing confetti. That was my verdict on the Budget when I spoke to ITV. Yesterday’s announcements simply don’t go far enough because Labour still doesn’t understand the scale of the problem.

Is that it? John Healey had a big job to do cleaning up Labour’s mess. This Budget fails to do it. Britain is overspent, overborrowed and overtaxed. This Budget does not come close to meeting the moment. My full response👇
