Good morning I have some personal news: I am moving back to upstate New York. The main reason is to be closer to family, and my wife and I both terribly miss the region we grew up in. There's also a bit more for our kids there, which has become apparent as they've grown up.

One of the weirder ones I've seen. The couple maintains that the husband had no other choice but to use Flock to track her car during multiple diabetic emergencies. He didn't tell dispatch or his supervisors. None of it makes sense!
"She said if she wasn’t suffering from diabetic emergencies so often, her husband would not have used Flock to track her."
So your LEO husband and yourself put the public's safety at risk every day?
That is your excuse why he had to break the law?

This is huge.
A just-released SEC filing makes an extraordinary revelation: Mark Zuckerberg is getting ready to pay California’s 5% billionaire wealth tax and has signed an agreement to remain in California for 8 years.
We are witnessing a global turning point unfold before our eyes. 🧵

New: We found cops who kept using Flock to spy on women after they left the force.
One used it for five years after retirement, spying on his wife during a custody battle.
Another ran searches while he was suspended (and later fired) after killing a 15-year-old boy.
🧵
Lot of eye-opening details in this new Post story on how Flock's lackadaisical attitude toward security -- the company didn't require 2FA until this August -- has allowed unauthorized people to access sensitive data washingtonpost.com/technolog…

Last February, DHS and the IRS raided 19 Phoenix-area money services businesses and seized money without ever charging anyone with a crime.
Today, @IJ teamed up with one of those businesses, Ayala's Mini Market to file a federal lawsuit. 🧵

Actually cannot believe what I've read here.
The police shooting that killed 1-year-old Kohen Wiley as he sat in his mother’s lap in a Walmart parking lot in Senatobia in June “was justified,” Mississippi Attorney General Lynn Fitch’s office says.

"The biggest hurdle to a full accounting of immigration-related queries is that millions of the searches in Akron’s network include vague or indecipherable justifications."
A Flock account stays active months after a cop is suspended for killing a girl. A resident found the problem in the logs and notified the city. The city “overlooked” the email from the “activist.”
The guardrails at work.
