Tonight passage is Luke 21:34, We are called be on guard all the time, how we eat, our vocation or our daily actions in our lives if we don't be vigilant, we can fall apart, 1 Peter 5:8 says that Satan roams around like a roaring lion seeking all he can devour and destroy. So we are not only guarding ourselves again life's worries but Spiritual ones too! The Bible through out scripture tells us to be sober minded and watch! Normally this passage deals with Christ's Second Coming, but it has practical application beyond that! Today theme is the watchman on the wall! As brothers and sisters in Christ we watch and we guard not just ourselves but our brothers and sisters too! Luke 21:34 (NASB95) “Be on guard, so that your hearts will not be weighted down with dissipation and drunkenness and the worries of life, and that day will not come on you suddenly like a trap."

Have you ever gotten to the point that you not sure which path in life you are to take, some times that picture is not always clear! Those are the times we take it to the Lord in prayer and allowing him to direct our paths and at the same time we don't want to lean on our own understanding of the world. By Trusting in the Lord with all our hearts he will lead us to still waters and pastures of green! "Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight." - Proverbs 3:6 (NASB95) Today devotional is powered by our brother in Christ @Brainiac420 @_contron_ and @EepyPandaVT !
