To me it seems that Angel doesn't like facing conflict. I think he was trying to avoid having to face the fact the Husk was upset with him, so his solution is to pretend nothing happened. Husk on the other hand DOESN'T like avoiding conflict so he tries to talk to him about it-

“Wow they reconciled real quick.” Tbh i think they hadn’t yet. I think Husk hesitates here because he was looking to talk/reconcile. And he was given confidence by Angel…well being his normal self and breaking tension they might have had before this scene.
