It’s been a while since I stepped away from X, and honestly, that “constant buzz” starts to feel like an artificial bubble once you’re out of it. same with youtube so much of it now is just dressed up promotion mixed with fear-driven narratives. urgency, anxiety, hype… all engineered to keep you hooked or to sell you something. cut that noise out, and something becomes very clear: nothing is as chaotic or revolutionary as it’s made to seem. most of it is just amplified to capture your attention. when you stop scrolling and stop consuming endlessly, life doesn’t collapse it actually stabilizes. things slow down. you think better. you focus on your own work instead of reacting to everyone else’s noise. most of what’s being pushed isn’t insight it’s leverage on your attention. step away, and you realize how much of it you never needed in the first place.
