Frame 1: Ruto as a young Member of Parliament inciting tribal clashes. He is on record complaining about an area in Rift Valley called Kiambaa, a 5000-acre of land inhabited by the Kikuyus.
Frame 2: Ruto incites locals over foreigners who own pieces of land in their regions.
'Kama wewe ni mtu wa Eldoret au Kakamega unafanya nini Lamu?'
Is Ruto saying, people can't buy pieces of land away from their home regions?
Can he explain how he acquired huge pieces of land in Laikipia, Taita Taveta, Moibe,n and Zambia for instance?
What will happen if this pattern spreads to Eldoret, Narok, Laikipia, Mombasa, and Nakuru for instance? These sentiments are a recipe for chaos and anarchy.
William Ruto's handlers must remind him that he is now a head of state and not the Eldoret North MP who once made terrible remarks about ancestral land in Kakamega and Eldoret.
His speech should be very sensitive and inspired by the tenets of our constitution.
What he says can have of very serious impact on the fabric that binds us as a country.

Guys, let me ask you. Would you let the US invade Kenya and arrest Kasongo?
I hate the Kasongo guy, but I respect Kenya's sovereignty. This is our house. We are not puppets. That would not sit well with me.

Over 30,000 households in Nyeri, Nyandarua, and Laikipia remain without water after Water Resources Authority officials, backed by armed police, vandalized the Kamiruri intake. They destroyed water meters, damaged the water outlet, and redirected the water back into the river.
Joseph Kagiri, Chairperson of the Kieni Constituency Water Community Projects, condemned the act, calling it “blatant lawlessness and economic sabotage against thousands of households that rely on these water systems.”
