this internet child dug up a 10-year-old picture of me from an account where i openly shared my life and how crypto changed it.
imagine thinking that’s a gotcha lmao.
i gave an opinion about polymarket, and instead of countering it with facts, this guy went straight for my looks and skin color.
funny how racism works on crypto twitter. everyone loves free speech until someone disagrees with them.
the funniest part? bro hides behind a cartoon pfp while mocking someone who’s never been afraid to show his face.

i’m risking $316.50 to make $44.49 on @Polymarket.
my bet:
$VAR stays below $3B FDV one day after launch.
don’t get me wrong, variational has strong numbers:
- $50M series A led by dragonfly
- coinbase ventures and bain capital crypto involved
- over $200B in reported trading volume
- 100% of treasury revenue planned for buybacks and burns
but a strong project doesn’t automatically deserve $3B valuation on day one.
look at the current polymarket ladder:
$1B — 56%
$2B — 25%
$3B — 12%
$4B — 6%
the odds drop hard after $1B.
there is also 32% genesis distribution for points holders, fully unlocked at TGE.
that could create serious selling pressure during first 24 hours.
my position:
cost: $316.50
payout: $360.99
profit: $44.49
return: around 14%
the biggest risk is a major exchange listing, surprise partnership, or launch hype sending $VAR above $3B.
i’m bullish on variational
i’m not convinced it opens above $3B FDV.

in january 2019, i lost around $15k when Cryptopia was hacked.
i rebuilt everything from 0
then in december 2021, i lost another $35k+, including a large dydx-chain:native airdrop.
after losing more than $50k, i stopped asking:
what should i buy ?
and started asking:
if one thing goes wrong, how much can i lose ?
that question changed how i store my crypto.

today, i split my funds across 5 separate iPhones and 5 separate wallets.
for every wallet:
- i use a phone that only i control
- download the wallet from its official source
- create a completely new wallet
- write the recovery phrase down offline
- keep multiple physical copies in separate safe places
no screenshots.
no Notes app.
no iCloud backup.
every wallet has a different recovery phrase.

before moving a large amount, i check the address carefully and send a small test transaction first.
when i buy crypto on exchange, i withdraw anything i plan to hold long term.
my savings wallets never touch random mints, airdrops, or connect wallet to check links.
i keep a separate daily wallet for spending and testing new things.
hardware wallets can help too
but no device can protect you if you share your recovery phrase or approve a dangerous transaction.

the scariest crypto attack this year didn’t hack ledger code
it attacked users trust
CryptoBilis sold ledger devices across southeast asia for years as authorized reseller.
then company reportedly changed ownership.
old team left under NDA, but same name, website, and authorized reseller status remained.
customers had no obvious reason to worry.
then wallets started getting drained.
over $86m may have been stolen across bitcoin, ethereum, and tron, although total still unconfirmed.
one affected device was found with unauthorized hardware implant hidden under screen.
the implant could reportedly
-> watch what appeared on display
-> capture recovery phrase during setup
-> transmit it to attackers
device could still look completely normal.

trusted reseller.
genuine hardware check.
none of that guaranteed safety.
ledger has now told CryptoBilis to stop sales.
if you bought from them within the last 90 days:
- don’t set up unused device.
- if you already used it, consider moving everything to a new signer with a completely new seed.

investigation still ongoing, and there is no confirmed proof that new owners installed these implants.

similar cases have now reportedly appeared across asia, south america, and europe.

what he did share: polymarket is exploring an onchain asset tied to the platform’s economics, with real utility built into it.
he described it as:
“how the idea of stock should work”
that framing points toward something more substantial than a typical governance token.
