⚡ Did J.K. Rowling Intentionally Weave Christian Themes into Harry Potter?
In an interview with LindellTV's @CaraCastronuova, Solomon Schmidt, author of A Pen to Change the World: The Life of J.K. Rowling, explains why he believes the Harry Potter series is built around a deeply Christian story of sacrifice, redemption, and resurrection.
"The whole story of Harry Potter is about a mother who sacrifices herself for her son... and Harry's own journey to sacrificing himself to save his friends."
Schmidt also reveals what he uncovered while researching Rowling's life - including her church attendance, conversations with her pastor, and why she reportedly waited until the series was complete before discussing its Christian influences.
