She Couldn't Walk. Look at Her Now
When rescuers from Paws of Smederevo found little Nadia, her front leg hung lifelessly from her tiny body. She was covered in mud, tangled in burrs, infested with fleas, and suffering from a severe fracture, most likely caused by being hit by a car.
She was in pain, but her rescuers refused to give up on her.
Through our partnership with Paws of Smederevo, Animals First Aid helped cover the cost of Nadia’s surgery. And the operation was successful! ❤️
Her veterinarian is pleased with her recovery, and although she still needs time to heal, Nadia finally has a chance to live a happier, pain-free life.
This is what compassion can accomplish. 🐶💕
But Nadia isn't the only animal who needs help. Other injured and abandoned animals are still waiting for the care they desperately need.

💔 A Wound Too Terrible To Ignore!🐾❤️
When our partner, Sangkhlaburi Animal Sanctuary in Thailand, received reports of a dog with a horrific wound, their team searched for days. Twice, they went looking. Twice, she had disappeared.
But they refused to give up. ❤️
After knocking on doors and searching the community, they finally found Nueng, a beautiful dog living with an elderly woman who had devoted her life to caring for others. The woman loved Nueng dearly but had no idea that free veterinary treatment was available.
When the sanctuary team saw Nueng's wound, they knew she urgently needed help. Maggots had infested the damaged tissue, and she was suffering terribly.
The veterinary team carefully cleaned her wound, removed the maggots, and provided antibiotics and pain relief. Slowly, Nueng began to heal. 🩺🐶
Today, Nueng is recovering and has returned home to the woman who loves her and her twin sister who missed her. 💕
But this rescue was only possible because someone cared enough to make that first call—and because our partner was there to answer it.

The X brand strategists have been on my case about posting vehicles online, specifically the Cayenne. Apparently it's not good for my software brands for people to know I have one at home 🫢.
As the only person in Zim who I know who has a Cayenne, could we possibly meet for coffee sometime just to discuss how amazing these vehicles are in person. If we end up doing any business after that, I promise not to tell the brand strategists about it
They might get a heart attack due to their world view being challenged like that.
On a more serious note, hope you're enjoying yours to the max brother. And yes, if you're in Joburg anytime in the next 2 months, would be keen to meet you for coffee. Harare in December too.

Shane was the one actually built for the world they were in. Rick kept trying to run a democracy and save every stranger while people were dying around them. Yeah he was unhinged by the end, but half the group’s problems in the early seasons came from Rick’s hesitation. If they’d followed Shane’s lead instead of fighting him the whole time, a lot of those later messes never happen.

We're expanding our approach to content provenance to include text in response to EU regulatory requirements, while recognizing the significant limitations of current text watermarking technology.
Our tools already help verify whether an image or audio file was created with our models. This work builds on those efforts to help people better understand when content may have been generated or edited with an OpenAI model.
In the EU, we’ll start watermarking eligible text from ChatGPT and Codex over the coming weeks to comply with the EU AI Act.
Customers using our API can turn on text watermarking for select models worldwide today.

He slipped away gently after everything you tried. Thinking of the positives, like you said the smiles he never stopped giving. Mr Big was lucky to have you, and so were we watching.
Mr Big lost his battle today. I suppose we all knew it was coming but it still hits hard. The big gentle giant who we’ve fixed up several times slipped away gently as his options ran out. I’m happy his body can now relax as I think the pain was starting to bother him.
I get so many people asking me how to deal with the loss of a dog. It’s one of my most popular DMs. I wish I knew the answer. All I know is I like to think of the positives and the good memories. As time passes you soon realize you were so lucky to be in a dog’s presence. Probably none more so than Mr Big.
He was a bundle of fun. Always up for an adventure. Always giving 100%. The sort of dog who just makes you smile non stop. Farewell big guy ❤️
