We honestly DO NOT talk enough about how God will give you a completely ordinary day. No emergencies, no devastating phone calls, no chaos. Just peace.
That alone is a blessing.

Former #Patriots LB Brandon Spikes did NOT like former Ravens RB Ray Rice š¤£
āI love animals. I donāt trust people that donāt got pets⦠Thatās why I aināt like Ray Rice little ass. I used to be out there tryna kill his little ass because I knew he was puttinā his hands on women⦠I was supposed to kill him, like he was little. Like, come on now. I aināt get hyped to play against him. Iām supposed to kill him. Like he run hard, he whatever. No disrespect. But this what Iām here to do. This my mothaf***inā job. You aināt gettinā no rushinā all that s**t you was doing, itās over now. Iām here. And Bill [Belichick] drafted me just to stop yo ass. All of that running s**t they were doing in that conference during that time ā Bill personally said, āHey, stop all of it and we can go to the Super Bowl.ā And guess what we did? [We stopped it]. Easy too. I said, āThis s**t easy, man! I aināt even really serious about this s**t! I aināt no professional yet.ā I wasnāt ever professional.ā

Maturing is realizing that the play calling here was not the issue.
The Steelers got to 1st and goal from the 3 with 1:38 left in a tie game at the end of regulation. In my view, they almost certainly should have run on the first two plays and probably the third as well. Instead, they went pass (incomplete), run (short gain), and pass (incomplete). They kicked a field goal and left Tampa with 1:21 left and one timeout, trailing by 3.
Consider what could have happened:
If they run on 1st down, they either score or the Bucs call their 2nd timeout at 1:33.
If they run on 2nd down, they either score or the Bucs call their 3rd timeout at 1:28.
On 3rd down, they run again (or call a pass where you instruct the QB to take a sack if it isnāt an open throw). You want to make sure you either score a TD or the clock is running. No need to force it into a tight window. Personally, I would have just run it a third time so nothing funky happens.
Say they do not score and the clock is running. The 3rd-down play ends at 1:23. They let another 40 seconds run off and kick a field goal, leaving the Bucs with about 39 seconds and no timeouts.
This approach would have either had the Steelers up by 7 or, worst case, left the Bucs with 39 seconds and no timeouts while trailing by 3.
Much better than what actually played out. Down by 3 with 1:21 left and a timeout, the Bucs legitimately had time to potentially score a TD to win the game.

Ryan Shazier says Mike Tomlin and members of the Steelers organization would show up to his rehab sessions to support him after his spinal injury left him paralyzed, and says his teammates would come to his hospital room every friday night to eat pizza and play cards
āYeah, and so that's the one thing I do like about my time in Pittsburgh, and even at Ohio State. We really build friendships, and we build a chemistry. Guys really want to support each other, and we all just wanted to win.ā
āAs I was getting better, I would go to the facility. But when I had rehab, I'd tell Coach Tomlin, Kevin, and Mr. Rooney, āHey, I'm having therapy today. If you guys have time, I just want to let you know.ā And sometimes they'd show up. It was awesome. It would be cool just to see that, as I was going through the toughest time in my life, those people were there for me.ā
āThey had my back. And when we had the linebackers, when you're in the hospital so long, it can be very depressing. So they'd come in there, and we'd just have a Friday night where we'd all chop it up, play cards, have pizza, and just hang out.ā
āI think it really built our friendship with a lot of those guys. But then I think it also made it a little easier for them to play together and understand responsibilities and family bonds. Because they're great people over there, and not a lot of people do that.ā
āSome of my friends that played on other teams tell me all the time, āMan, a lot of teams would not have done what the Steelers have done.ā And to me, I always say, because people always tell me, āRyan, I don't know what I would've done if I was in your situation.ā And I'm like, most people, when they're in that type of situation, they try to step up. Most people just don't think they will. But I'm just really happy to see that the Steelers did in that situation.ā

Patrick Graham says he took a lot of points from the Steelers' win over the Colts and what Mike Tomlin + Teryl Austin did to slow down Jonathan Taylor.
It wasn't exactly point for point, but there was a lot of similarities.
Steelers ran Cover 3 33% of the time in this game, a staple of the gameplan from last year.
