I finally got my Unit-9 pistol, from @_unitsolutions
From a training standpoint, this puppy is AWESOME. It shoots the same ammo as the proven Unit-4 Carbine, with both marking and non-marking options. Loading the magazines is easy.
Best part is you don’t have to change any of your muscle memory… loads/unloads the same, reloads the same. Immediate and remedial action is all the same. Same holsters. Same optics and lights. Same holsters.
This is not a conversion kit. It is a dedicated non-firearm. It CANNOT shoot live ammo. Safe and legal practically everywhere.
Want to train safe? Want to train force on force? Want to train by yourself safely?
The Unit-9 is for you.

CQB training with the @_unitsolutions rifles is hard to beat. 🔥 Here’s a clip from yesterday’s class—nothing replaces putting in the reps.

Absolutely love training with the Unit 4.
It’s a game-changer for pushing reps, refining fundamentals, and staying sharp.

The rifle on the left is made by @_unitsolutions, is basically that.
It fully mimics the manual of arms for a AR-pattern rifle. 30 shots per mag, full recoil, all that. The mag holds 30 rounds, and the CO2 to run the rifle. Basically they took the foragings for a AR rifle and machine them a bit differently. So, the upper, lower, and mags aren't cross compatible with real rifles. You can load the mags up with either solid BBs, or paint rounds.
Spendy, but very well made. And ammo refills are cheap. Takes standard AR accessories too. Like stocks, quad rails, and so on. I've set mine up to basically mimic my M4.

For anyone wondering, Used the @_unitsolutions training rifle during CQB—impressed with how well it replicates recoil and weapon handling under stress. It’s a solid platform for refining fundamentals, running force-on-force, and pushing realism without live rounds.

There’s nothing quite like going full auto—I’m just missing my MP7. 😂
In all seriousness, I’m highly impressed with this rifle setup and what it’s accomplishing in both the MIL/LE space and the civilian market.

Saturday run and gun training with the @_unitsolutions U4 training rifle. Nine back to back circuits, over 700 reps of body weight & band exercises, 55 years old, zero shots missed. Get some.

Stagnant firing positions, on static targets is better than watching Netflix.
If training doesn’t have a force of force element, you’re going to be overwhelmed.
While the best I’ve seen currently is @_unitsolutions, even airsoft is better than a video training aid.

3 years dry fire training 5x/wk with MantisX products and I plateaued with avg scores in the mid 90s. Then the Unit Solutions training rifle came into my life & I started shooting while running. My scores dropped to the 40s but I’m clawing my way back. 55 years old is just a number.

Force on Force is not just a ton of fun. It is one of the best ways to pressure test your tactics and shooting fundamentals, and identify what you need to work on. Of course, we can only do this because we are working with @_unitsolutions using the best, non-live fire training tool on the market. The Unit 4 is as close as you can get to the real thing and is a huge training asset to civilians, LE, and MIL. Especially when you pair it with our HWS.
