If he wants to act like an adult, treat him like an adult. Yes, the parents are at fault, but undoing what they've done is going to be extremely painful. He might as well get accustomed to it.
He's not wrong. One of the reasons is that Black and LGBT people are dramatically overrepresented. A true representation of the U.S. population would see more Latin people and fewer black and LGBT people in movies and TV shows. How well will that go over with the left?
