Elon talking his book and spreading FUD. His tweet will bring down the Neo-clouds even more which will make it harder for them to get funding. This will make it easier for $SPCX to access funding, compute and everything needed to build his data centers. I don’t have a horse in this race. But you can clearly see what he’s doing.

Pretty much. As of the past few weeks, debt markets have almost entirely shut off access to money for any company that doesn’t have substantial revenue independent of AI data centers. SpaceX closed $40B of debt for GPUs, but we’re investment grade and have Starlink & launch revenue. That means the 200+ neoclouds are going to see guppy-level death and consolidation. Some will make it through, but not many.

The world’s most accomplished tech founders and business leaders are betting hundreds of billions on AI with extraordinary conviction. Meanwhile much of the investing world thinks they’re making a massive mistake. The irony is hard to ignore. An investment industry where very few have historically managed to beat a passive index is now questioning the judgment of the people building the technology and running the businesses that will put it to work. Maybe the investors are right. Maybe the builders are. But I can’t remember a time when the stakes were this high and the two sides saw the future so differently.

You would have made billions if you gave seed checks to everyone who was at @alexandr_wang’s 19th birthday party: - Jeff Yan (@chameleon_jeff) went on to start Hyperliquid (~$20B) - @ScottWu46 went on to start Cognition ($48B) - @thejessezhang went on to start Decagon ($4.5B) And Wang himself who started Scale AI, and got $14.3B from Meta for 49% of it. Wang explains: “I was doing a winternship at a trading firm called HRT. There were 12 of us, almost all of whom were students at either Harvard or MIT. I recently met up with the founder of HRT and they were talking about, ‘We're starting to do some private investments.’ I was like, ‘Just invest into the interns! All the interns get seed checks!’”

Interesting!
if you're wondering why the 10-year is down today even though CPI had a horrible print...which should be causing yields to go up because that means we have a higher chance of a rate hike due to more inflation... i *think* it's because the bond market wants to see the stock market go down. and not just stocks, but AI/semi/capex stocks in particular. the theory i've had over the past couple of weeks is that as we see more issuance of corporate debt in order to fuel capex...that is obviously competing with the long end of the curve for US treasuries i mean, one can even argue that bond yields we're going to go up regardless of the oil issues because those yields simply couldn't stay at 4% if meta/google/amzn/msft were offering 6-7% on their corporate debt so the obvious answer now could be for there to be LESS competition with the US 10-year...but the only way for that to happen is for their to be lower-yielding debt from the hyperscalers that are issuing bonds to fuel their capex spend well...the only way that happens is if the capex stops, slows down, or the cost to build these datacenters drop so that the borrowing costs drop which is why we have seen yields RISE every day over the past few weeks when semis go up and we are seeing them go down when semis go down...it's like the credit market is saying "we will only buy bonds if you guys stop buying semis" this doesn't mean that stocks writ-large have to go down, but it does mean that the credit markets are asking for something to break in the equity markets and its like they want semis to be the main culprit. if semis keep going to the moon, cool, but then so will yields and then maybe a 6% 10-year is what breaks everything? not sure if this theory is right but the objectively true part is the competition between US corp debt and treasuries, if all that corp debt is going to buy semis then when semis go down, it makes sense for treasuries to go up the easiest way to get SOME relief here is for Trump to end the war so gas/energy comes down and puts relief on inflation...but today's CPI showed the opposite and yields STILL went down because semis got hit it's a very, very weird time to understand how the bond market is navigating the AI trade

Lowest Latency of Task Completion by Personal Agent is next breakthrough we need. Browsing internet is good stepping stone from human driven web, but that's very inefficient for agent to get thing done. More Native Connectors OR Personalized Index of Web.

at this point, world needs more fast inference than more superior intelligence. everyday people needs are simple.

It was okay to throw AI agent to customer in customer support. But, somehow its now not okay for a customer to use AI agent to browse/ask support.

Personal Agent forces enterprises to adopt customer support agents, human agent won’t scale anymore.

I think Muse is going to win tbh
the amount of deeply personal, & actually actionable ai training data fb is likely generating right now through muse is likely insane. even if peripheral. stuff like what ppl see, want, ask, choose, buy, ignore, & act on. esp through the connectors. it’s basically onavo built in house. & the compounding effects of that data flywheel are only the beginning. muse is basically fb 2.0 as a company which is why zuck needed to go all out.

Muse.
Personal Empowerment is most underrated use case in light of all productivity driven use cases. AI really is net empowering human than net replacing. In pursuit of showcasing TAM, it led to mis positioning of the technology as zero sum to normals.

i am so proud of the @Muse team. if you knew them you wouldn't be surprised muse came out the way it did. they are soulful and thoughtful people, hard workers, brilliant, fighters - the kind who take the hard problem, stay with it through every dead end, and don't let up until it's solved. i’m lucky to work with them. every detail of the product and the model was turned over in somebody's hands, worried over, chosen on purpose by a thoughtful soul. that’s the whole secret. good people, good work.
