To be clear. I’m a massive bull long term. There is just a huge duration mismatch between capex / narrative & tangible value that is the crux of the issue Long term decisions being made at spot prices
attention is all you need until you dont
there is a very interesting phenomena where VCs bring lots of positive attention to companies which then attracts a lot of horrible attention, bad PR
there are companies like Flock (skydio for example, i think similar scale) doing similar things that have to deal with zero public hate because theyre quiet and just compounding
a lot of b2b software products will just become databases which ironically makes customers less likely to switch
utility goes down yet retention goes up. hmmm
it really is quite a beautiful commercial
