From 0:48 to 1:15, there’s an imitation of Potri Paadadi Ponne, with a different violin melody playing in counterpoint that brilliantly captures the state of both Sakthi and Panjavarnam. Until this moment, no one knows what’s going to happen next. The imitative melody arrives at Sakthi’s dialogue, right after he says “Naan Periya Thevar magan kodutha vaaka meera maaten,” serving as a musical statement of Periya Thevar’s legacy. The counterpoint violin, meanwhile, captures the chaos running inside Panjavarnam’s mind. Every cue, every musical detail in this film is brilliance to the core.

This is from Bangalore today. Look at the drops falling from the green cloth at the left side. This was so disturbing to watch something right in front of the eyes.

Interesting to know that @thearvindswami has learnt Veda in his childhood
His adopted father V.D.Swamy was the big donator of the Vedapatasala started at Poonamallee near Chennai where he lived nearby. He used to bring Arvind to the Vedapatasala where I was a student. I've played cricket with him. His Srinivasa farm house was later sold to Shobanbabu.

I was in Paris for the last few days. For the weekend, I have moved to Belgium (Brussels) which also faced some protests resulting in some metro routes indefinitely blocked. French police dealt with the French protestors much more severely than the Delhi police did. The European mainstream media glided over this fact. The very same media cried hoarse about the Indian police.

We only see anti-Diwali posts everywhere. “Don’t burst crackers, only eat sweets.” This book actually tells us why we MUST light fireworks (not bombs) and what are the simple shlokas we must chants and do the simple Diwali rituals for a satisfying and Dharmic Diwali!

From childhood, Deepawali was synonymous with crackers, "lehiyam" and sweets. But Deepawali is a powerful time spiritually & our Rishis have prescribed "simple" but powerful rituals over 5 days. I came to know from @VedaGhosham Deepawali Anushtana Vidhi session last year!

Absolutely true. It is due to invasion that we lost the tradition of agama shastras. Now, people get offended if we tell them to not touch a vigraha saying it is allowed in jyotirlingas but not here. But they don't realize it's for their benefit and not God's benefit. Kamika Agam

Most popular temples up North as well were following strict Agama Shastras until once upon a time. We all know why things there slowly became lax over time. PRAMANAS FROM AGAMAS, DHARMA SHASTRAS AND PURANAS ON - PROHIBITION TO ENTER GARBA GRUHA (SANCTUM SANCTORUM) WHERE MAIN DEITY IS HOUSED IN TEMPLE, BY ANYONE OTHER THAN THE ARCHAKA / PUJARI & PROHIBITION TO TOUCH THE SHIVALINGA OR ANY MURTHI OF THE DEITY BY THE PUBLIC VISITING THE TEMPLE, as compiled by Acharya @VedaGhosham Guru ji - Open link to read - facebook.com/share/p/19EU92q…

Touching a mool vigraham is a deshacharam. It depends entirely on the specific temple's Agamas. In South, significant temples are consecrated with prana pratishta and the practice of touching is hence strictly prohibited and moreover it depends entirely on the specific temple's Agamas. North and west Indian garbhagrihas are structurally designed to accommodate the flow of the general public moving right up to the deity. The deity is natural presence in the location.
