There is an ontological difference, even before an aesthetic one, between art and what a machine can generate through statistical calculation based on millions of images created by others. It would be difficult for someone to watch this with an open mind and not feel more positively predisposed to Steph Richards as a person, and trans people as a population
Steph Richards is a trans woman who works for the charity Endometriosis South Coast as their parliamentary engagement officer which is a voluntary role, but in the last week, she has seen a tsunami of hate directed her way.
Some women online have called her appointment deeply offensive, but Steph says this is just another excuse for transphobia.
