Thinking back to this news story of Sudan detaining 105 Egyptian fishermen who had illegally entered Sudanese territorial waters. On those occasions where the guns on the Sudanese coast guard boats out of bullets or did the crew on those boats simply conclude that massacring unarmed civilians for a territorial infringement was not the appropriate course of action. And had Sudan acted in that way you would have had every Egyptian and their mother calling for the carpet bombing of Khartoum to avenge those slain fishermen.
Yet looking at the Egyptian timeline I see bewilderment amongst Egyptians as to why Sudanese are upset that the same airforce that was evacuated to Sudan to prevent it from being annihilated during the six day war is now bombing them.

At least 72 Sudanese gold miners have been killed in airstrikes by the Egyptian air force, with survivors putting the death toll at over 200. This is a massacre and there’s absolutely no justification for killing civilians.
