20 years married. THIS is the flex.
Marry the girl who loves Jesus more than she loves you.
I didn’t grow up with a model for marriage.
My view of love was shaped by a broken home.
So yeah… I got it wrong early on.
If that’s you, you’re not broken. You’re just early.
Get mentors. Get around people who will challenge you, pray for you, and call you out (and up)… not just send you podcast links and Tony Robbins clips.
(love Tony, by the way.)
Here’s what I’ve learned (and still learning) after 20 years of making the wisest decision ever.
✅ Wanting to “be right” in marriage is a great way to lose
✅ Self-awareness will save more arguments than “communication skills.”
✅ Don’t just say “I love you,” demonstrate it
✅ Build a business that fits around your family… not a family that gets whatever scraps are left after business
✅ Don’t fake accountability. Find people who’ll kick your butt with love
✅ Pursue her even when you don’t “feel it. Especially then
Take your daughters on dates.
Speak life into them like the world is trying to take it from them… because it is.
Help them become confident, courageous, and grounded in truth.
Not perfect. Just anchored.
And guys…
Don’t let your eyes wander.
Don’t get distracted by cheap attention.
Focus on your wife.
Honor her when no one’s watching.
God sees that. And He blesses it.
I don’t have a perfect marriage.
But I have a beautiful one.
Because we’ve committed to putting Jesus at the center… especially when it’s hard.
And I’d rather struggle with God’s grace than try to grind it out without Him in our lives.
To my wife, Sarah, my best friend.
We did it. 20 years.
You are the steady, faithful rock in our family.
You love deeply, lead quietly, and carry more than anyone sees.
You’ve brought stability, wisdom, and strength into my life…and I’m better in every way because of you.
I’m not the man I am without your love, your prayers, and your patience.
I love you. And I’m so grateful God gave me you. My heart belongs to you.
20 years.
Not bad for a kid with no blueprint.
Here’s to the next 20… with more love, more laughs, and a lot more memories.
Anyone successfully using Grok @bot for project management?
Now THIS is exciting.
Testing this now so that my Grok Bot chief of staff (Michael Scott) can leverage my already built Claude Code system to do more work autonomously.
Having a proactive agent has been the missing piece in my workflow.
This could be a game changer. Will report back soon.
Also, @trevin is the 🐐
You can install Claude Code and Codex CLIs in your Grok @bot computer, along with acpx to give your bots the option to use your other subscriptions and cross-family of models. Opens up some powerful scenarios.
You can just give this to your agent:
share.trev.in/trevin/f/Mu7bx…
Full prompt:

Set up Claude Code, Codex CLI, and acpx on your computer, and add rules for when to use them.
Install
- Install everything under `~/.local` so it survives computer updates. Don't use sudo or put anything in /usr.
- Claude Code: use the native installer (`curl -fsSL claude.ai/install.sh | bash`). Make sure `~/.local/bin` is on PATH.
- acpx needs Node 22.13 or newer. If the system node is older, download a portable Node 22 .tar.gz to ~/.local/node22 and put its bin folder on PATH in ~/.bashrc and ~/.profile.
- Codex: `npm i -g @openai/codex --prefix ~/.local` (use Node 22's npm).
- acpx: `npm i -g acpx --prefix ~/.local`. Then replace the `~/.local/bin/acpx` symlink with a small sh wrapper that runs Node 22's node on acpx's dist/cli.js. Delete the symlink first so you don't overwrite cli.js.
- `gh`: if it's missing, install the standalone binary to `~/.local/bin`.
Logins (interactive, I'll do these)
- Stop and tell me when each login is ready for me to take over on your desktop: claude (claude.ai account), codex (ChatGPT sign-in), and gh auth login if gh isn't already authenticated.
- Afterward, verify with `claude auth status`, `codex login status`, and `gh auth status`.
Validate
- In a temp folder, run: `acpx --cwd <tmp> --approve-reads --non-interactive-permissions deny claude exec "Reply with exactly: OK"`. Then run the same command with codex. Both should return OK and exit 0.
Keep updated
- Write `~/.local/bin/update-ai-clis` to update all three (and rewrite the acpx wrapper afterward). Create a daily routine that runs it, reinstalls anything missing, never touches logins, and only messages me if something breaks or a version changes.
Usage rules (save to memory)
- Don't use Claude Code, Codex, or acpx by default. My normal assistant and Cursor agents handle everyday work.
- Use them on request, or for second-opinion reviews, head-to-head comparisons, or when I ask for one by name.
- Prefer acpx for any automated or headless run. Use the CLIs directly only for logins, updates, and interactive sessions I take over.
- Keep each run scoped to one repo or scratch folder. Allow reads only unless I approve writes. Never push, merge, deploy, or send anything through them.
- Show me what they produced and say which agent produced it.

MASSIVE update for one of my most used skill.

HELP with AI Video Editing: Is there a tool that can overlay my iPad drawing onto my talking-head video, like the attached one?
So that I don't have to edit this manually?
Now this is hilarious 😂
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA NO WAY.
> OpenAI just announced Dots.
> SpaceXAI bought Dot.com
it redirects straight to the Grok Bot download page. based lmao.

Today's video is Part 5 in my Agent-Run Business from Zero series!
We're getting close to launch! In this video I design the marketing strategy and set up the accounts I need, as well as do some testing on the user flow and order some real shirts!
Thanks to @alejandroreyes for some advice on the marketing strategy
Next week we'll be doing final tests and getting ready to launch!

What music do you listen to when you're doing deep work?
I love BrainFM, but looking to switch it up.

Is the Grok Bot move to talk to ONE Chief of Staff that talks to your team, or do you guys work with every bot?
This is one of the most honest Hermes vs Grok Bot posts I've seen.
If you aren't already following Tony, you totally should.
What he's doing with Hermes Agent is one of the coolest stories around.
Grok Bot vs Hermes Bot Mode is actually a much easier decision than people are making it.
Neither one needs to “kill” the other.
They’re built for different people.
Grok Bot makes a ton of sense if you want:
- a managed experience
- cloud-hosted agents
- minimal setup
- something you can sign into and start using without becoming the sysadmin of your AI team
Hermes makes a ton of sense if you want:
- control over where your agents run
- your choice of models and providers
- different models for different bots
- custom skills, memory, tools and personalities
- recurring routines
- bots that can message and hand work to each other
- an agent system you can keep extending as far as you’re willing to take it
That’s really the split.
Grok Bot is closer to:
“I want an AI team. Make this easy.”
Hermes is closer to:
“I want to BUILD my AI team.”
And there are a LOT of people who should choose the first one.
There are also absolute sickos like me who look at the second one and immediately start building an entire fleet. 😂
Different tools.
Different users.
Very similar destination.
