KAFUR: Another Display of Overwhelming Support
Today in Kafur, I witnessed an extraordinary display of love, solidarity and commitment from our people. The massive turnout at our campaign rally and the warm reception from our traditional rulers have once again demonstrated that Kafur stands firmly with the APC.
I am particularly encouraged by the commendations from our traditional rulers, who have acknowledged the impact of our administration’s interventions in education, healthcare, agriculture, security and community development.
For me, this is more than politics. It is a reflection of the trust we have built together and the responsibility we carry to continue delivering on our promises.
I sincerely appreciate our traditional rulers, party leaders, elders, women, youths and all APC supporters for this overwhelming show of support. Your encouragement gives us the strength and determination to do even more.
As we look towards 2027, I urge you to sustain this unity and remain steadfast in our collective commitment to the progress of Katsina State and Nigeria.
Let us continue to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the APC as we consolidate our achievements and build a brighter future for our people.
Thank you, Kafur, for standing with us. Your trust is our greatest motivation.
God Bless!!

Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has applauded the people of Danja Local Government Area for the impressive reception accorded the Tinubu–Dikko 2027 campaign train.
Governor Radda, while addressing the gathering, said the large turnout reflected the people's willingness to participate in the political process, assuring them that his administration remained committed to policies and programmes that improve their lives.
He expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah for the opportunity to meet with the people and offered prayers for divine protection, sound health, prosperity and lasting peace in Danja and Katsina State.
“We have come here to meet our people, and the reception you have given us is deeply encouraging. We do not take your support for granted. We appreciate every one of you for coming out in such numbers,” the Governor said.
He further emphasised the importance of the people's welfare, saying that the administration shared in their aspirations and remained concerned about their everyday wellbeing.
“When our people are happy, we are happy. When they face challenges, we also feel their concerns. May Almighty Allah continue to preserve our families, bless our communities and grant us the strength and success to serve,” he added.
Earlier, the Director-General of the Tinubu–Dikko Campaign Council, Arch. Ahmed Musa Dangiwa, described the reception in Danja as a significant contribution to the campaign's grassroots mobilisation efforts.

He attributed the orderly conduct of the exercise to the cooperation of the people and the grace of Almighty Allah, noting that the gathering passed without major security incidents or loss of lives.
“We must first acknowledge the mercy of Almighty Allah. No individual is perfect, but we have every reason to be grateful that this exercise took place in an atmosphere of peace and understanding,” he stated.
Saulawa also recognised the contributions of security agencies, local government officials, community elders and residents, whose cooperation helped maintain order.
He urged APC members to avoid divisions, strengthen mutual understanding and preserve the political solidarity that supported the party's previous electoral victories.
“Our strength lies in our ability to stand together. Let us preserve the unity we have built, consolidate our existing support and remain committed to working collectively towards our shared political objectives,” he appealed.

Governor Radda Approves Additional World Bank-supported ACRISAL Funding
* Okays KT-CARES 2.0, Culvert Construction, School Relocation
* Water Pipeline Relocation at Six Locations
Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has approved counterpart funding for the World Bank-supported Agro-Climatic Resilience in Semi-Arid Landscapes (ACRISAL) project to strengthen climate resilience, improve agricultural productivity and support sustainable livelihoods in vulnerable communities across the state.
The approvals were granted at the 17th State Executive Council meeting held on Tuesday, at the Upper Chamber of Muhammadu Buhari House, Katsina, presided over by Governor Radda.
Briefing journalists, the Executive Secretary of the Katsina State Development Management Board (KTSDMB), Dr Mustapha Shehu, said, “The Council approved additional counterpart funding for the ACRISAL project to sustain ongoing interventions and facilitate access to further financing.”
He added that “continued funding for KT-CARES 2.0 was also approved to strengthen social protection, community resilience, livelihoods and economic recovery across Katsina State.”
On public procurement, Dr Shehu said, “The Council adopted recommendations on total quality management and price intelligence to improve project quality, harmonise prices and ensure the efficient use of public funds.”
He explained that the recommendations followed a capacity-building exercise for engineers and technical officers from ministries, departments and agencies, coordinated by the Ahmadu Bello University Consultancy Unit in collaboration with KTSDMB and the Bureau of Public Procurement.
The Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education, Yusuf Suleiman Jibia, said, “The construction of a three-cell box culvert at Kurmi along Malumfashi–Mahuta Road was approved to improve road safety and ease the movement of commuters.”
On the relocation of Senator Ibrahim Ida Primary School, he said, “The school will be moved from its current site near Katsina Central Abattoir to a more suitable learning environment within the Sokoto-Rima Basin Development Estate, close to the community.”
He added that the relocation would provide a better environment for teaching and learning while allowing the government to upgrade the Central Abattoir to internationally recognised standards.
The Commissioner for Water Resources, Mannir Ayuba Sullubawa, said, “The Council approved a partnership between the Katsina State Exploration and Mining Company and Anka Metals Smith and Limited to identify, assess and develop commercially viable mineral resources in the state.”
He added that the partnership would support the development of a reliable geological and mineral resources database, attract private investment and promote economic diversification through the sustainable development of mineral resources.
The Commissioner also disclosed that “the Council approved the replacement or relocation of water pipelines at six locations affected by ongoing urban renewal and road construction projects to restore water supply and address complaints from residents.”
The affected locations are Airport Junction to Marike Magaji; CPS to Cooper in Doka; Water Board Roundabout through GRA to Kofar Sauri and Central Mosque Roundabout; Barhimi Extension to the Eastern Bypass along Mani Road; Mobil Filling Station through KTSDA to Babbar Ruga Roundabout; and CPS to the Kofar Kaura underpass.
He noted that while urban renewal remained important for infrastructure development and improved mobility, maintaining essential services, particularly water supply, was also a priority.
