A civilisation is a cultural continuum. Not a geography. Pakistan is an Islamist garrison state. Not a civilisation. It is an Arab civilisational outpost full of illegitimates search for a root.

In some parts of the world, that truck would be looted. India's stereotypes are the worst in the world.
This truck loaded with fresh vegetables went off the road and got stuck on the roadside, with its wheels trapped in the grassy area beside the road. There was no crane available in the area to pull it out. If the truck remained stuck for too long, all the fresh vegetables would spoil, causing the driver a huge financial loss. The driver explained his situation to the local people living nearby and told them how important it was to get the truck back onto the road as soon as possible. After hearing his story, the locals stepped forward to help. They tied long ropes to the truck, and nearly 300 people pulled it together, managing to get the heavily loaded truck back onto the road in less than five minutes. The truck driver could hardly believe his eyes when his truck was finally out. He was extremely happy that these people had saved him from suffering a huge loss. There is incredible power in unity. A task that might have required a crane was accomplished by nearly 300 people working together in just a few minutes.

Marriage is the closest we have to evolution through artificial selection. In the west, dating priorities are different. For a female to land a 'good' guy, she has to bring her looks and personality to the table. Guys will have to bring their income as their A game. In India, visual filters are not primary. Stability is given preference. Low divorce rates are an outcome for a reason. Labelling traditional domestic specialisation “servant consciousness” loads the preference with pejorative framing; complementary roles can be efficient specialisation chosen for lower household chaos, as the high-earning man looking for a complementary housewife.
A guy from a top-tier MBA who earned his success through pure hard work and now has a solid income wants a housewife. He’s clear about his preference. A woman can simply say no — no need to paint him as “orthodox.” He’s just seeking a peaceful, low-chaos life and a simple, loving family without the daily rush and stress. #Marriagematters #TraditionalValues #ClearCommunication #FamilyGoals #marriage

I am a proponent of public shaming as a viable punitive action for non-grievous violence by women. Saves them from the police and long arm of the law. And the instant justice brings closure to the public. The humiliation is quickly forgotten as people move on.

We always welcome anybody who will participate in the Aarti, partake in the prasad and dance in garba as homage to the Mother Goddess. Muslim, Christian, Atheist, doesn't matter. You may even do it for optics and politics. As long as your respect our traditions, you are always welcome.
This week, I was blessed to join Hindu New Yorkers in Queens celebrating Navratri, Durga Puja, Dashain, and Vijayadashami.  We danced garba, performed aarti, witnessed Sindoor Khela, and honored the Goddess Durga. It was an honor to come together in joy, faith, and community in temples across our city — especially after the attempted mass shooting at a Hindu temple in Illinois last week. May we all join together in our shared responsibility to stand against hate and care for one another. Jai Mata Ki.

The Islamic concept of Jahiliyyah, or Age of Ignorance. Islamic converts treat their own 'primitive culture or civilisation' before their Arabisation as shameful, undeserving of acknowledgement and even tolerance. This concept in action 👇

Five points for the propaganda that Sharjeel Imam 'is in Jail without trial'. 1. He is not in jail without trial. 2. He is an undertrial without bail due to serious UAPA prima facie charges of masterminding the 2020 Delhi riots. 3. Such complex cases take 8 to 10 years 4. He is not a VIP to jump the queue. 5. He himself is responsible for the delay by seeking adjournments.

As Hindus, we condemn parading naked women and garlanding rapists and any culture, law or religion that promotes this. Your turn. Will you condemn Sharia, your Prophet's warmongering, Jihad, sex slavery, beheading, stoning and other such punishments for victimless crimes like adultery, fornication, blasphemy, apostasy, etc? We will wait.

1964: Hazratbal Hindu Massacre in East Pakistan On December 27, 1963, a revered hair relic of Prophet Muhammad went missing from the Hazratbal Shrine in Srinagar, Kashmir, causing massive anguish and protests across the subcontinent. Indian authorities recovered the relic in early January 1964, and its authenticity was later verified by religious scholars. The State-controlled media and political figures in East Pakistan (now Bangladesh) claimed the recovered relic was fake and accused Hindus of engineering the theft. Calls for jihad and retaliation against the Hindu minority were publicly broadcasted. According to Sachi G. Dastidar, “The Hazrat Bal anti-Hindu pogrom took the lives of a large number of innocent Hindus all over the nation. Yet it was vicious, specially in Hindu-majority district of Khulna in southwest of the nation. In Nilanjana Chatterjee’s “Interrogating Victimhood: East Bengali Refugee Narratives of Communal Violence,” an oppressed caste man, Mohendra Dhali, tells an inquiry commission in India, “I witnessed the terrible mass killing by Muslim rioters at Khulna Lauch Ghat (river ferry) on 3rd January 1964…. We saw at least fifty men dressed in black with daggers … three were innumerable dead bodies… We saw village burning, I believe that night on the Khulna launch Ghat alone Hindus numbering two to three hundred were killed. The river turned red… The killing and ethnic cleansing made a Hindu majority Khulan District into a Hindu-minority district. A large number of agriculturist Hindu refugees of the Hazrat Bal pogrom were settled in the middle of dense Dandakaranya Forest of Central India with very little annual rainfall. Most of the refugees were poor agricultural workers and farmers of wet rice-growing culture of Bangladesh, while some others were fishermen. They came from the oppressed Hindu castes. After the privileged-cast-led Hindu Bangladesh Communists came to power in West Bengal in 1977, headed by Chief Minister Jyoti Basu of Dhaka, Bangladesh, a section of those Hindu refugees migrated to Marichjhapi Island in coastal West Bengal and began rice cultivation or fishing. The group remained unaffiliated with the ruling Communists of the state or with the ruling Congress Party at the national level. In a brutal, unprecedented suppression of the oppressed caste, the ruling elites took “police action” in 1979 against these agriculturalists. Writes Jagadish Chandra Mandal in Marichjhapi Naishabder Antarale (Marchjhapi: Beyond Silence), that at least 128 men, women and children were killed or were “missing” because of “police action”, 211 were imprisoned, 163 boats seized and destroyed, and hundreds of items of personal property were confiscated in order to force and starve the population to death or migration. The confiscation and destruction of boats were reminiscent of the colonial British administration in 1943 creating Great Bengal Famine taking lives of millions of Bengalis in pre-partition India at a time when there was bumper crop. Writing about his mass killing of poor, hapless, Hindu refugees peasants, journalists Sunanda K. Datta -Roy states, “Battered groups of men, women and children are being driven back every day; but privations of their journey have focused attention again on 31 years of cruel prejudice, callous neglect and often wanton repression”. (Sachi G. Dastidar, p 168, 69). Reference Sachi G. Dastidar (2021). Bengal’s Hindu Holocaust. Garuda Publication, India.

#Sharjeel Imam remains in custody as an undertrial because he is charged in the 2020 Northeast Delhi riots “larger conspiracy” case under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act and related IPC provisions. Indian courts, including the Supreme Court, have rejected regular bail after examining the material and concluding there are reasonable grounds to believe the accusations against him (and co-accused such as Umar Khalid) are prima facie true. They have described the roles attributed to them as distinct from those of co-accused who received bail.Bwlegalworld Public discussion often focuses only on the content of his speeches. Those speeches are treated by the prosecution as evidence of intent, organisation and the alleged conspiracy that preceded the February 2020 violence. The primary case he faces is the conspiracy charge connected to the riots, not a standalone free-speech prosecution. UAPA’s bail threshold is high, and multi-accused conspiracy cases of this type commonly take many years to complete because of the volume of evidence, protected witnesses, and systemic delays in the Indian criminal justice system. Eight to ten years is within the range routinely seen in comparable matters. This distinction matters: treating the case as purely a free-speech issue leaves out the actual charges and the courts’ recorded assessment of the material.

#Sharjeel Imam is an undertrial in the 2020 Delhi riots larger conspiracy case (UAPA + IPC). Courts have repeatedly denied bail after finding a prima facie case of his central role in the alleged plot—not merely for speech. His speeches form part of the evidence of intent and organisation. The core charges relate to conspiracy linked to the violence. Complex UAPA trials routinely take 8–10 years in India due to procedural delays, witnesses and volume of material. Framing this solely as a free-speech case omits the actual charges and court findings.

Manifesto on Identity: India is a nation of many religions, languages, and identities. Each of us holds several at once, and it is natural that one of them may feel more immediate than the fact of being Indian. That is your right. Yet the safety of every other identity depends on the strength of the Indian one. You may think of yourself first as a Muslim, a Tamil, a Dalit, Woman, Youth, or a Marxist. Without a durable Indian citizenship that binds us, each of those identities is exposed. History is unambiguous. In Yemen, Sudan, the Balkans, and elsewhere, once the larger civic bond broke, communities turned on one another for generations. India can still refuse that path. The world, in any case, already treats us as Indians. Rising hostility—online, at borders, in everyday encounters—does not pause to ask whether someone is Tamil or something else. To those who hate, the differences we prize are invisible. We are Indians. That citizenship is the ground on which every other identity can stand without fear.

Tolerance must be the cornerstone of Indic society as a practical civic principle. That means treating peaceful coexistence as a matter of shared rules rather than personal affection or agreement. It rests on three concrete elements: 1. Individual rights — People are judged primarily by their own actions, not by the group they belong to. Rights (speech, religion, association, property, etc.) apply to everyone who abides by the law. 2. Equality before the law — The same rules apply regardless of background. No group receives special exemptions that undermine basic legal standards, and no group is collectively punished for the actions of individuals. 3. Mutual non-interference — People can live differently—worship differently, dress differently, eat differently, hold different values—so long as they do not coerce others or violate shared rules. You do not have to approve of, befriend, or even like the other person.

Better than Indian Leftists, Pakistani liberals better recognise Sharjeel Imam for what he is: an Islamist. Because they can't distinguish his rhetoric to what they hear from their Mullahs in their country. It is the Indian Leftists who shamelessly defend this clearly violent ideology with mental gymnastics.
I had not seen this video. His views are certainly troubling. Oddly, he doesn’t sound like a progressive at all. There’s a serious conservative strain in him. Having said that, he doesn’t deserve to be held in prison without a trial. His crime? He’s not terribly bright. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Singapore is today, a developed rich nation. How did it attain this status? One reason: political stability. Lee Kuan Yew's People's Action Party (PAP) has been in continuous power since winning the 1959 election - the first under full internal self-government, forming every governemnt since then through every subsequent general election. Unbroken power for over 65 years. Thats how long it takes to make a nation. In India, if we can have a capitalist government for the next... not 50, not 40, not 30, but just 20 years, we will be able to become a developed nation too before our demographic dividend runs out.

Let's examine the CJP legal strategy logically step-by-step wise. 1. You were arrested. You executed a bond that had conditions. 2. You disagree with the bond conditions. You have NO intention of keeping the bond conditions. 3. Now, the question is, why didn't you challenge the bonds and nullify them? That would have been a great grounds for invoking the Writ jurisdiction since your freedom to protest is curtailed. 4. Ok, you did not challenge it and you broke the conditions. You were arrested again. You proved that you will not adhere to your own bond conditions. This becomes a precedent behavior for consideration in a newer bond. 5. Your newer bonds are rejected on two grounds. One, your own earlier behavior, two, faulty submissions. 6. These two must be dealt with separately - the faulty submissions can either be rectified with fresh submission (you eventually did this and secured bail) or challenge it in appellant/sessions court. 7. You straight away went for a Writ. It is clear that the writ can only look at the process and not the merits that is the clear preserve of the appellant court unless very perverse 8. You did not adequately prepare for the writ. You asked the court to examine the reasons for rejection of your new bond. Of course you got grilled. What else did you seriously expect? And I am not even a lawyer, I can tell you you look grossly underprepared. Your lawyer was schooled. 9. You could have invoked the writ NOT for release from custody, but to prevent curtailment of your freedoms. That would have forced the court to examine the constitutional rights under attack by state machinery. You clearly did not invoke that at all, you rushed to secure release from custody. 10. Your entire legal strategy seems reactionary, unplanned, unstrategic and plainly ignorant. Wrote in one go, so typos/mistakes possible.
A statutory revision or appeal against an order may not always provide an effective or timely remedy. In such cases, the High Court may exercise its writ jurisdiction, as well as its inherent powers under criminal procedure to prevent the abuse of court processes. This is particularly where the impugned order is palpably illegal and likely to be extended. Procedural rules, statutory provisions and judgments may be cited to argue otherwise. But, as any litigator will candidly acknowledge, much ultimately depends on whether the writ court chooses to exercise or decline its jurisdiction in the circumstances of each case. My limited opinion is that the writ powers are sufficiently broad and need to be exercised in cases concerning the illegal deprivation of personal liberty.

Polish Satellites and Indian Rockets are made for each other. Polish space tech is best known for high-resolution synthetic aperture radar (SAR) Earth-observation satellites and small/microsatellite platforms, with strong dual-use (commercial + defense) applications. 1. SAR constellation leadership via ICEYE: The standout strength. ICEYE (co-founded by Poles, with major engineering and operations in Warsaw) builds and operates one of the world’s largest fleets of small SAR satellites. These deliver all-weather, day-and-night imaging at resolutions down to ~25 cm, independent of clouds or darkness—ideal for persistent monitoring, defense intelligence, maritime surveillance, and disaster response. Poland recently took sovereign operational control of its own four-satellite POLSARIS (MikroSAR) constellation in under 12 months, a notably fast delivery. 2. Microsatellite manufacturing and Earth observation: Creotech Instruments is a key player with its modular HyperSat platform. It has built optical EO microsatellites for Poland’s military MikroGLOB constellation and contributes to civilian and ESA programs. Polish industry also has a track record of instruments and subsystems for ESA and NASA scientific missions. Supporting strengths: Space situational awareness (POLSA optical networks for tracking satellites and debris), suborbital rocketry (e.g., ILR-33 Amber), and growing work on satellite communications components and dual-use systems. And India is a major launcher Nation with growing satellite capabilities. This is a partnership made for the Heavens. Let's go!

How is it ok, in today's age, to have to write under a pseudonym because one set of people are bent upon STSJ for 'blasphemy'?
I’ve long wondered about this practice: how is it ok, in today’s age, to have a ‘pseudonym’ columnist? I’d understand for whistleblower; personal story of risk. But for a regular “analysis”column that can fire away anything on India’s most divisive issue without accountability?

What is the difference between an appeal in the appellant/revision court and a Writ petition in High Court? 1. If you appeal to the appellant court (sessions court here), the court can go through the entire merits of the case, examine all the relevant facts, evidence placed before it by both parties, and merits of the SEM's order. In short, you can ask the court for relief and place your objections in detail. 2. If you invoke the Writ jurisdiction of the High Court - the court has enormous powers, but it won't go into the details of the case. That is, it won't re-examine all the details, facts, evidences, etc unless the decision shocks the conscience of the court by being patently wrong. The Court will confine itself only to examining the decision-making process - were principles of natural justice followed, were all parties heard, given chance to lead evidence, file affidavits, examine witnesses, etc, check jurisdiction, legality, etc. The Judge, Justice Subramonium Prasad patiently schooled the advocates and asked them if they will prefer for the case to be reviewed in detail before the appellate court or do they want to persist with the writ. The Lawyers withdrew the petition.
Justice is not a favour bestowed by judges. It is their duty, and the very purpose for which citizens established the judiciary and continue to fund it with public money. If the judges wanted to dismiss the petition on the ground of an alternative legal remedy, why deliver an unnecessary lecture on matters entirely irrelevant to the case? Why does it matter whether Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka belong to Gen Z or not? Is the Constitution different for Gen Z, millennials or any other generation? Incidentally, one of them is indeed Gen Z. The judge remarked that they initially raised students’ issues and are now pursuing other causes. So what? Who decides which issues a citizen can raise, the citizen or the court? Have they signed a lifelong agreement to confine themselves to students’ issues? They are free to demand electoral reforms, judicial accountability, political reforms or any other constitutional change. Since when did courts acquire the authority to decide which public causes citizens should pursue? Then comes the reference to arson and violent protests in other countries. What relevance does that have to these protesters? You cannot presume that someone will become violent merely because protests elsewhere have turned violent. Where is the evidence of violence by these students? During their earlier protest, it was the police who used force against them, including batons and pellet guns. Yet the protesters are portrayed as potential troublemakers, while the conduct of the police escapes similar scrutiny. Since when did peacefully waving the Indian Tricolour at Jantar Mantar become a threat to public peace? What exactly happened that disturbed public peace? Was there any violence, fighting, intimidation or disorder attributable to these protesters? If not, on what factual basis were the conditions of their peace bonds treated as violated? A breach of peace must be established through facts and evidence, not presumed from the political cause someone chooses to pursue. Most importantly, if the petition was being dismissed because an alternative remedy was available, what was the purpose of commenting on their generation, their choice of movement and incidents of arson in other countries? A court is expected to adjudicate legal rights and obligations, not deliver unsolicited sermons on which causes citizens should support or how they should exercise their constitutional freedoms. The entire hearing gives the impression that the priority was to lecture the petitioners rather than examine their grievance and provide a reasoned judicial determination. Citizens approach courts for justice, not for moral lectures on their political choices.
