GM & Happy Wednesday! I managed to earn +1,592 XP this week holding my @FugzOfficial and @retsbaxyz, as well as predicting on Myriad Markets. Still a long way to go for gold tier, but I intend on reaching it by Q1 of 2026. It's interesting how I was earning 2,000-3,000 XP a week when my portfolio was more than 10x in terms of memecoins, but I guess the algorithm on Abstract is changing pretty frequently.

GM & Happy Wednesday! I earned 6,420 XP on Abstract, a new all time high for me! I played a ton of rounds on Roach Racing, placed points bets every other day on Myriad, purchased 2 @pengztracted and 1 Buume on Opensea, and minted 2 days worth of the free + paid RedBull NFTs. Overall happy with what I got, and am looking forward to next week. This week, I will continue to do the same, while simultaneously farming Base, Opensea, Limitless, and Solstice.

I think the main problem nowadays is that the incentive is always placed on the initial drop. Wale, I’d like to hear your opinion on this, but below is what I think is the problem right now. Almost every project right now is aiming to reward users (mainly on their first initial token drop) with most projects allocating the highest percentage towards their first drop. However, there aren’t many strong incentives for users to stay on a specific chain or an app for future campaigns, especially because the first campaign is hyped up so much with good rewards that in the future (after everybody believes that it can’t get any better) people start dumping, and the future incentives don’t really matter anymore. When will there be a project that ends up rewarding long-term users on the chain rather than just a 10 or 20 month campaign where only the users of the first drop get rewarded and in the future when nobody uses it and the token drops and dilutes the future incentives (2nd or 3rd round) don’t matter anymore?

Kaito DESTROYED small accounts. Here's why the new algorithm is NOT working and what needs to be fixed 👇 1) Removing Bots ≠ Increasing SF/Yap Threshold Yes, Kaito is working to remove botting & AI slop. Is that a good thing? Yes. However, by pushing the default leaderboard thresholds to a minimum of 200 SF or 200 Yaps just to decrease bots, it eliminates over 95% of Kaito users. Thousands of small accounts came to Kaito seeing this as a chance to grow their accounts and most importantly, monetize their content, but now it just looks like being a large sized KOL account is more important again. 2) Wider Community Leaderboard Kaito added a "Wider Community" leaderboard to allow smaller accounts who don't qualify for the Content Creator leaderboards to see their rankings. However, not all projects are required to reward these users and thus most of the accounts who had previously made content for a certain project will most likely not be able to qualify for rewards anymore. Instead of preventing a small percentage of engagement farmers from earning rewards, Kaito has decided to remove almost everybody, 3) Projects Deciding Leaderboard Threshold Kaito is putting the power to the leaderboard owners to set the new thresholds. Not every project will want to support small accounts, and not every project will want to put in the effort to change the default 200 SF/Yaps threshold to help out every creator. Kaito is in charge of the platform and needs to take initiative. Why was the airdrop so hyped in the first place? It's because Kaito allowed almost any creator to monetize their content. What is Kaito doing now? They are reversing that and only allowing a smaller group of creators to monetize their content. Case Studies Let's take @Crypto_Zh0u & @shynshylyonok for example. On one hand, we have Zh0u, who if you haven't noticed yet, is probably the most notable, consistent, and famous Mitosis Creator. He went from top 3 on the main Mitosis leaderboard to only being on the Community Leaderboard. Luckily, Mitosis is changing their requirements and Zh0u is now back. If however it wasn't Mitosis and instead it was a team that never changes the default threshold, then there would be a real problem. On the other hand, we have Maksim, who makes some of the most well thought out content for the Multipli community, creating real content with realistic rumors for everyone. Maksim went from top 50 on the Multipli leaderboard to now only being on the Community Leaderboard. In both cases, we are no longer able to understand if they will receive any rewards because of this new update. What Needs to Change? - Kaito needs to add a publically disclosed section where users can learn about Smart Follower and Yap thresholds for all leaderboards. - Kaito should require all leaderboards to consider the current leaderboard requirements and adjust as they'd like, rather than allowing them to change the thresholds if they want to.
