call me crazy but the “apology” posted on ao3 dot life from ganesh the minor from india + the new copycat site claiming to be archiving works of black content creators feels like a disgustingly cheap psy-op designed to portray poc as scammy, opportunistic and exploitative

Several figures here aren’t federal results or NY-specific. The $472B combines US wide pledges: Micron's $250B is nationwide (NY site $100B) Anthropic's $50B covers TX and NY. The 48% murder drop is from NY's state run GIVE program (28 departments, Jan – May 2026). arkolith.com/news/news-micr… therepublic.com/?p=843020 governor.ny.gov/news/safer-str…

“Water, soil, and oxygen should not be infinitely accessible. They are assets that should be included in global economic balance sheets.” This is not satire. The World Economic Forum wants to monetise breathing.

Wanting characters who don’t need to grow in any way is such an odd way to engage with fiction. What’s appealing about characters that don’t change over the course of the story???

ICE detained a developmentally disabled student on his way to school. He is a US citizen. They realized he wasn't who they were looking for after they had broken his wrist. They dropped him off a mile from school. He walked to school in tears. When he arrived, the school called an ambulance. Will ICE ever be held accountable?

It's genuinely baffling to watch people have breakdowns over not being able to read fics for a couple of weeks and then in the same breath turn around and say those writers don't deserve any kudos or compliments for their work.
