🎁 Data versioning comes to @QGIS — amazing work by @volayaf to start bringing the capabilities of @KartForData to desktop GIS.
Kart is now available as a @QGIS plugin! Work with version controlled data directly within your desktop GIS – see your data history, commit incremental changes and create and merge branches with ease. Search for Kart in the plugin manager or visit plugins.qgis.org/plugins/kar…
So apparently renting powerbanks is a thing. Cool, pay a few $£ and drop it off somewhere else later.
AFAICS in the UK: #chargedup/@theup_co & @joosapp & BattPoint.
But no maps of their locations!? I'm not installing your app until *after* I can see what your coverage is like

Wouldn't it be great if the Forth Bridge became Scotland's first official Lego set?
This idea only needs a few hundred more supporters for Lego to officially consider it, so please register your support.
It's free and only takes a couple of minutes:

We set off from London—where, in 19th century slang, a KENT STREET EJECTMENT was the act of removing the front door of a house. Named after Kent Street in Southwark, this was a ploy used by local landlords to evict tenants who had fallen more than two weeks behind in their rent.
Simon has built something great with @datasetteproj, and it is well worth picking up for any journalists or data wranglers

Great to be able to introduce sno.earth to the lovely people at #gitmerge today. At @Koordinates we’re excited about spatial dataset versioning and the possibilities it will open up.
UK utilities have a nice scam going. Fixed term contracts where the price gets bumped by 2-3% every March based on Consumer Price Index. Guess what drives a chunk of consumer spending which CPI is based on? #selfFulfilling
