I freaking love this guy already.
I’m joining the team at @X to lead Product. I am a huge believer in @SpaceX's mission to extend human consciousness to the stars, so it’s time to make shitposting multiplanetary. X is the best way to find out what’s happening in the world right now and talk about it. The team has been working tirelessly to make X a better place and product for the people who love it, and many have noticed the recent momentum. My goal is to help accelerate that momentum for our community, new users, and businesses globally by continuing to make this product beautiful and useful. We are twenty years in, but it truly feels like X’s next chapter will be our greatest. I look forward to your ideas and feedback; I’m sure the replies will be measured and magnanimous.

Look, I'm in Ecuador right now. I know the rules. I have to leave in 5 months or get a visa. If I stay for 20 years without doing that, I'm not "in limbo"; I've actively chosen to do something retarded – at Duran, Ecuador

Stunning admission by California during yesterday’s Ninth Circuit hearing. California admitted they do nothing to check the citizenship status of voters and will count the illegal ballots of noncitizens who vote. This is why we’re seeking an emergency order. We cannot allow California to dilute legal votes in the upcoming election. Judge: You agree that if a non-citizen votes and we don’t stop it now, that vote will be counted, correct? California: That’s absolutely correct.

This reminds me of some of the medievally horrific stories I heard from the staff of the India Gandhi Children’s Hospital in Kabul about both maternal care and pediatric burn care. I was silly enough to ask what all the NGOs raising money to help the AFG people were doing to help address this. Stares and shrugs. Tens of billions of dollars were spent in the first decade alone, with hundreds of NGOs hanging a shingle. A lot of money was made by NGO staff and leadership in Europe and North America. A lot of money was spread around in marketing and security…and yet, almost a decade after Camp Rhino, 18year old girls on foot or if lucky with a donkey, still spent days on the road to get their 2 year old child with 30% of their bodies covered with burns to medical care. All that money, like pouring water into the sand. As always, follow the money.
Across the rich world, nearly a quarter of all development aid now goes to climate projects. The core problem is opportunity cost. Every dollar subsidizing solar panels or carbon accounting is a dollar not spent on schools, maternal health or clean water. financialpost.com/opinion/op…

This video is a great example of being "in over our heads." This modern hominid is trying and failing to process reality because reality has become too complex. The point of the video that was made by the hominid is basically "the food says the food is good, but then the food says the food is bad." One part of the bag promises quality. Another part of the bag has a government warning about a chemical in the food that can harm you. One really cannot blame the hominid. Our brains were not made to read about food. Our brains were made to recognize food that we already know and to accept it or reject it. Good food = eat, bad food = leave behind. This hominid is attempting to do its due diligence in reading the descriptions of the food before deciding whether the food is good or bad. And to be fair, the warning sounds pretty bad. So this being was able to go up one level from "good food good, bad food bad" to "bad food sometimes look good." And of course, the way that we identify bad food that looks good is by the label. They have to label it! The government makes them! Right? Well, what if you apply the same logic to the label? Sometimes bad food look good, therefore CHECK LABEL. But sometimes, meaningless label look bad! What then? Well, you would have to check the label of the label somehow. What the fuck? How many layers are there gonna be? (Hint: infinity) I'll save you the legwork: the California law that forces the chip company to print this warning is too broad by A LOT. It turns out that acrylamide is just the chemical that is produced when you brown your food. Fried chips? Acrylamide. Seared steak? Acrylamide. Toasted bread? Acrylamide. And yes, it is carcinogenic. If you eat enough of it, it does increase cancer risk. But you gotta eat a lot. Like a lot a lot. Like your uncle who died 18 years ago, the way he liked his steaks and burgers black on the outside and 4 times a day. A little fried food isn't near that amount. So the reality here is that chips are not health food, but you already knew that. This is not new information. It just sounds like it is because California is gay. So the real question here is not about the chips. It's about how we are supposed to survive in a world where things are not as they seem, and when you check on them, the checking is also not as it seems. How many times do you have to check on the checking? How do you know when you're done doubting the reality in front of you? You don't. Good luck.
How is that even legal 💀💀
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
This is a routine Proposition 65 warning required by California's 1986 right-to-know law, not lax regulation. Acrylamide forms naturally from cooking/baking/frying and the same warning appears on chips, bread, coffee, and roasted nuts nationwide. ahpa.org/california_pro…

Sex is sex and any hole is a hole, and most women after kids have greatly degraded their intrinsic value in that regard, which is why finding that sweet spot of cheerful upbeat-ness and emotional support become all the more important for the wife to provide for her husband.

Ya'll, this is nuts. Hundreds - that's right, HUNDREDS - of armed robberies between 2022 and 2024 weren't real. They were staged by the "victims" as part of a massive immigration fraud scheme to secure U-visas for themselves and their families. cwbchicago.com/2026/10/buckt…
