For decades, Navi Pillay has been a champion of international law and human rights, and a steadfast, independent voice of justice amidst some of the most historic international legal cases of our time.
I warmly congratulate her on being awarded the 2026 Nobel Peace Prize.
Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Navi Pillay

Navi Pillay was chose because of her extreme hate for Israel. She is nothing more than. a modern day NAZI. Why Navi Pillay was given the Nobel Peace Prize is beyond comprehension. Before she was appointed to lead that "impartial” inquiry at thew UN, she had already called Israel an apartheid state and signed a petition to "Sanction Apartheid Israel." She defended a fellow commissioner who complained about the "Jewish lobby," and her commission accused Israel of genocide without ever hearing Israel's side. The Nobel Committee says it is honouring her career, but this prize comes right after four years spent singling out the world's only Jewish state. Rewarding that sends a terrible message to Jews everywhere at a time when antisemitism is surging.
Guterres is praising the "genocide" report. Gaza was executing its own civilians.

Navi Pillay wasn’t awarded the 2026 Nobel Peace Prize for promoting peace or international law. She was awarded it because she is obsessively anti-Israel.
I know this firsthand. When she served as UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, I was part of Israel’s delegation in Geneva and responsible for liaison with her office and the Human Rights Council (2008-2013). Her obsessive bias against Israel was already clear then.
The official citation praised her “efforts to promote peace and international law.” But the Nobel Committee chair admitted that her leadership of the UN Commission of Inquiry, which declared Israel guilty of genocide in Gaza, was “an important part of the reasoning” for the award.
This is the same Navi Pillay who, before heading that inquiry, had already signed a manifesto calling to “Sanction Apartheid Israel,” written to President Biden demanding Israel be punished, and built a record of extreme bias against the Jewish state. When she learned she won, she immediately highlighted “the delivery of the report on Gaza, naming what’s happening there as genocide.”
This wasn’t about the rule of law. It was a political reward for obsessively targeting Israel.
She is a heroin- a gem, Mr. SG. Though like award winning police dogs that criminals won't wish to see alive, the states, groups and individuals with dry patches of blood of their victims on their clothes and beneath their finger nails are already calling her all sorts or derogatory names.
With some of the hard core criminal suspects livid- in reverse phsychology, giving her the ugly names they know they long deserved to have been wearing on their own collars-criminals...
But their bullish attitide must be expected. A hard core criminal suspect can't be expected to go down quietly.
And it means humans of GENUINE consience-humans who don't live by manipulation, by being cunning in langauage and deeds mut NEVER feel intimidated by the outburts of those who already know that they are guilty and have case to answer before ICC.
In unsuprising pre-emptive strike, the suspects have for long been calling for disbanding of ICC. Dishonestly describing it as a criminal institution.
But people of conscience- people of values, people genuine human descency, universal human dignity must never be cowed. Descency MUST never be allowed to prevail over indescency. Bullies must never be feared. That would be betrayal by people of conscience.
A Assembleia Geral cedeu.

“You don’t need to be a history professor, or a psychiatrist, to understand what’s going on. Having rehabilitated themselves against considerable odds in a minute corner of the earth, the descendants of powerless people who were pushed out of Europe and the Islamic Middle East have become what their grandparents were—the pool into which the world spits. The Jews of Israel are the screen onto which it has become socially acceptable to project the things you hate about yourself and your own country.”
Sim, sim.
"Independent"? Navi Pillay led a UN commission whose members had publicly condemned Israel before they began, whose mandate targeted only Israel and never expired, and whose colleague complained about the "Jewish lobby". That is not independence. It is a verdict looking for evidence.
The "genocide" finding leaned on figures from Hamas, the terror group that started this war by murdering 1,200 people on 7 October. No court has found Israel guilty of genocide.
Congratulating her shows exactly why the UN has lost its moral authority on Israel, Mr Secretary-General.
