They are not "random" countries. The removals are to third countries that have entered into agreements with the State Department to receive aliens who have withholding of removal to their home countries but have no legal basis to remain in the U.S. Whether they have been given work authorization or not is irrelevant to their Final Order of Removal.
He's defending deporting to random countries people with withholding of removal who are here legally with authorization to work. You can't platform these people because they won't be straight with you ever.

I’m quite bullish on continental philosophy right now. As humans get outcompeted by AI on well-defined problems, bigger but much less defined questions on what it means to be a human will gain in status.

So the thing that never happens is happening…1 out of every 4 times?
Great work from the @ACLJ👇 "The ACLJ just obtained FOIA records from Cheverly, Maryland, showing that 25% of their Noncitizen Voter Registry appears to have voted in at least one federal election. Let that sink in: one out of four noncitizens on Cheverly's noncitizen voter roll are showing up as having voted in at least one federal election." aclj.org/election-law/aclj-o…

Yesterday, President Trump was in Texas highlighting the economic success his policies have delivered. We're proud to be part of that momentum. T1 is building G2_Austin, an advanced photovoltaic manufacturing facility in Texas, with an estimated 2.1 GW Phase 1 capital expenditure in excess of $500 million. G2_Austin is expected to create an estimated 1,500 high-paying advanced manufacturing jobs with a $120 million payroll in Milam County, Texas, while helping to reshore a critical industry. This investment would not have been possible without the leadership of President Trump and his administration. We are investing big in America, because it is the greatest country in the world. 🇺🇸

I'll be casting a straight Republican ballot here in Texas on November 3. I'm even voting for unopposed Republicans, which I normally never do, just for the totals and full effect.
Have you voted yet? Especially if you are in Texas!

As Cicero said, "Res publica res populi." (The republic is the affair of the people.) One might say today, "America is for Americans," though I think Professor Vermeule makes an appropriately finer distinction in his examples.
With all due respect, “personhood” is not a magical trump card that overrides the basic principles of the republican form of government. One cannot conclude from the bare fact of personhood that anyone and everyone has a right to be counted in the census, to vote, or to stand for office.

Brazil is a preview of what happens when the lawfare machine is allowed to run to its logical conclusion, which is de facto one party rule, all while preserving the illusion of democracy. For years, there has been relentless lawfare in Brazil, especially against the Bolsonaro family, along with an assassination attempt and massive manipulation of and by the courts. The point was always to take conservatives off the playing field and establish a permanent grip on power. That is the endgame of lawfare, and it is happening in America as well. It’s just that many people still don’t see it or where it all leads. Lawfare is no more about the Bolsonaros than it is about Trump. It’s about one party rule.
Flavio Bolsonaro's passport was cancelled and he was forced to flee the country by Lula, Alexandre De Moraes, and the insane Brazilian regime. His brother Eduardo has an arrest warrant out for lobbying the US. His father, Jair Bolsonaro is serving 27 years. Victims of political persecution, all of them. It's time for the Brazilian left to face the full force of American diplomatic and economic sanctions until they stop acting like a banana republic. The Trump administration lifted Magnitsky Act sanctions on de Moraes, his wife, and his holding company last December. They should be immediately reimposed. Further, visa bans should be imposed on every government official who has touched the Bolsonaro investigations - and their families too. Finally, Section 301 tariffs on Brazilian goods should be quadrupled. The Brazilian regime should look carefully at what has happened to Venezuela and Cuba, and remember that this hemisphere belongs to the United States of America.

Well worth a watch: (1) @DHSGenCounsel was excellent. Stayed on message, was respectful, knowledgeable and pushed back where appropriate. Didn't get overly frustrated with the weird obsessions. (2) shows the bias in how interviews are cut. 60 minutes cut all the good stuff!
WATCH WHAT @60Minutes DIDN’T SHOW YOU. Here’s the FULL, uncut interview with @DHSGenCounsel James Percival.

This is an important thread, but leaves out the fact that even if Dems know they’ll be overturned by SCOTUS, many of them don’t care. The process is the punishment. They’d rather bankrupt 25 year olds with $15k in their bank accounts for sport. This is what Slotkin means when she says “deterrent effect.”
A lot of focus has been on how the lawfare Slotkin promised to young Trump staffers is bad for our country. While that is true, there are also legal implications to her comments that will make it harder for Democrats to defend their oversight of the Trump admin before the Supreme Court. I’ll explain below. thefederalist.com/2026/10/27…

Wrong alas. There are multiple categories of persons physically present who are not counted.
This is about apportionment. If that’s what your problem is with fine, but don’t misconstrue. They count toddlers in the census, or at least they’re supposed to. No one is saying toddlers should vote or hold office, though. @Vermeullarmine Read carefully. Think. Be charitable.

Mini thread starting here for those who need a textual hook. In my view, the structural case à la Charles Black suffices.
Replying to @Philip_Huff
I think the issue is “in each state,” which surely can be read to mean more than mere physical presence (would tourists count?), and should be so read in light of the larger structure of republican representation that is at issue.

So this guy, having initially quoted superseded text, now overlooks the “in each state” language added by the 14th amendment, as to which the Court said in Franklin v Massachusetts: “The phrase may mean more than mere physical presence, and has been used to include some element of allegiance or enduring tie to a place.” (Personally I would approach the whole issue on structural grounds, like Charles Black, but I know some really want a textual hook).
O, and now look, he won’t even quote-tweet me, because I might then be able to comment below him to see that, if anything, the Amended wording in the 14a is even clearer.

Philadelphia is preparing to become the first city in the nation to offer this mortgage model, with lower interest rates, no private mortgage insurance, and credit scores as low as 620.

Does it deny the “personhood” of 25 year olds to say that they cannot run for President? Of citizens of India to say that they cannot vote in our elections? Why exactly should noncitizens with no status be counted for the apportionment of seats in the representative body? The analogy to slavery is utterly absurd unless @USCCB believes that all distinctions based on citizenship are unjust.
